No the lease was only required for construction of smelter.

for those too lazy to open the link,

Peter Cox, CEO of Ironveld, said:

"The Company is now nearing the delivery of long awaited value to its shareholders through the execution of a strategically important acquisition and the commencement of mining activity. By quantum, our vanadium and HPI resources are world class and the quality of our product validated through the long-term offtake agreements in place. We look forward to updating our shareholders in due course."

Even with the water licence, won't they need the lease?

The Ironveld team should win a prize for constantly delivering on time and exceeding share holder expectations. Over the last few months they've successfully secured land lease, developed smelter from scratch, started production, arranged finance for new acquisition, refurbished smelters in new acquisition and turned from a shell co in to a profitable respected mining company. Management should get a pay rise.

Bid has moved up a tad for some reason. 1.9750 available on a dummy trade.

This company has been doomed from day one ! I have a decent holding but the lack of any updates does not give me any confidence in the future. Miracles can happen but as with most of Giles Clarkes companies it looks most unlikely here.

Agreed. Let's hope the new regime improves the mood music for IRON. Maybe GC should book an appointment with the new president when he gets back from Ecuador.

Its the normal public relations at a Giles Clarke company. A total lack of communication to the small investors. No updates about what is happening. The longer the so called finance talks drag on the less optimistic I have become about Ironvelds future.

Maybe not, why the hell did I think that? But still, what is Cox doing all day?

Ace: More like Chinese whispers. I suspect John Wardle , co-owner of Tracarta, does speak to Giles Clarke from time to time.(of course strictly in relation to Amerisur business)

I did wonder how the price is staying put (more or less) in the face of continued large selling.

Does Tracarta know anything? There's supposed to be Chinese walls - if there isn't they could all end up in nick?

RNS: Have to be encouraged by Tracarta increasing their holding by 12million. Would anyone sink a further £250k in here unless they were reasonably confident of a positive outcome ?

I like your optimism but It could be a very long wait before we see any positive action here.

I was not intending to be negative. Im just, saying what I think at present. My only success with GC investments has been Amerisur like yourself. I also made big profits . I sold out at 36p to make my best ever profit dealing in shares

U2: Well that has cheered me up, lol. I was in AMER (another of his companies) which delivered very nicely and rose from this level to 60p. Regretting at the moment however re-investing most of the profits in here.
