04/1/2019 12:11 | Yes they finally got the lease for the land where the original 15MW smelter is to be built. That was stated in an RNS although it was a bit ambiguous, like most of their RNSs. | vatnabrekk
04/1/2019 10:40 | Same Management and majority shareholders as Amerisur which has had similar problems with delays and lack of newsflow, however it's jumped 100% in the past 3 weeks and is on a definite upward curve. It's always slowly, slowly catchy monkey with GC companies, however the main thing is that you "catchy the monkey"........... | ladeside
04/1/2019 10:03 | I agree zengas but on the other hand the vanadium price increase more than covers any dilution we have had. They need to perform now! | tommygriff
04/1/2019 09:47 | I held for 2 years and got out a long time ago but after all the placings, dilution and erosion of value it's disappointing to see them state on the 8th December 2018 "The Company's long-term objective remains to develop and operate its own smelting capacity" Long term objective ? They have been saying that since 2013 "Early path to revenue through 12MW smelter commencing production from 2015" I haven't seen them come clean or say what the issues are, other than come with the begging bowl when they need more cash. Woeful. | zengas
04/1/2019 09:26 | Let's hope they manage to achieve that. | vatnabrekk
04/1/2019 09:25 | Laptop: As posted above by Orange: The Group's present resources and existing facilities are only considered adequate to meet committed overhead expenditure for the period to February 2019 by which time the Directors anticipate completion of the initial testing and intend to enter into longer-term testing for a period of 12 months. Such extended testing is anticipated to provide sufficient funding for a period in excess of 12 months from the date of these financial statements." | annie38
04/1/2019 08:42 | Not sure but you would have thought they would have gone to the market for more in the December raise. | tommygriff
04/1/2019 08:37 | How much cash do they have here guys approximately? Anyone think there might be a raise soon?? | laptop15
24/12/2018 14:03 | same old cow , same old tree. | inside2
22/12/2018 09:05 | On the 120 kl Northern Limb of the Bushveld Complex, Anglo American Platinum operates the Mogalakwena Mine, a large 24 kl open pit mine, this mine according to published results holds inclusive resources of 3,712 million tonnes of Precious Group Minerals, mostly Palladium and Platinum and is considered the largest in the world. Anglo American's operational flow chart is as follows, open pit mine at Mogalakwena, crush and concentrate on-site, truck and transport to nearby Polokwane, process through a giant 68MW Smelter, with a design capacity 650,000 tonnes pa, then refine, and sell to market. The mine is very profitable, has an excellent safety record, is a large regional employer and invests in the local community. Ironveld also has its project located on the Northern Limb of the Bushveld Complex, with a very large in-situ resource, it has an option on a 7.5MW smelter In Middelburg, which is situated close to Polokwane, the Angle American Mogalakwena operation although much larger is highly successful, and I suggest is a "potential" working operational template for Ironveld. Ironveld's AGM is at 9.30am on the 18th of January, 2019, at Ironveld's offices, Lakeside, Fountain Lane, St.Mellons, Cardiff CF3 OFB. | utsushi
16/12/2018 20:29 | There is news coming shortly according to this passage in the results announced last week: "At the date of approval of these financial statements the initial testing of 10,000 tons remains incomplete and will not be finalised until after the approval of these financial statements. The Group's present resources and existing facilities are only considered adequate to meet committed overhead expenditure for the period to February 2019 by which time the Directors anticipate completion of the initial testing and intend to enter into longer-term testing for a period of 12 months. Such extended testing is anticipated to provide sufficient funding for a period in excess of 12 months from the date of these financial statements." | orange1
16/12/2018 17:19 | On the 4-7th of February, 2019 in Cape Town will be the Investing in African Mining Indaba. This is a big event in the South African mining industry, attracting 34 Government Ministers, including I am sure representations from China, India and Brazil, as well as in attendance will be 750+ dealmakers and investors, 132 mining companies, and many others connected to the mining industry. I wonder if Ironveld Plc intends to attend and exhibit, the company now has a real storey to tell with its valuable in-situ resource and a potentially developing off-take agreement in 2019, so their presence there could be very beneficial for the company and its vision, with little downside. There will be a Battery Minerals day. | utsushi
12/12/2018 09:30 | Final Results indicate that the company is finally on-track to close the price or EV to NPV gap in 2019, through delivering on a potential off-take agreement. Ironveld's grades are really world class, Vanadium 1.1%, Fe 47.5% and Titanium 14.5%, these grades can additionally be simply enhanced by magnetic separation to upgrade the concentrate by 25%-30%. Further, Ironveld's farms have scale, if long term agreements and financing allow, there is potential for 3 types of operations, occurring is sequence or simultaneously: 1-Raw ore long term off-take agreement with a international major, generating early and essential cash flow and proof of concept. 2-Salt Roast Operation flow sheet-to produce directly the product that is in high demand at the moment, Vanadium Pentoxide V205, and ride the Vanadium/VFRB wave. 3-Pig Iron Operation flow sheet-to produce High Purity Iron Powder as well as Vanadium, and Titanium Slag. These projects could generate enormous prosperity for the Northern Limb of the Bushveld Complex, in time creating jobs, leading to upgrades in infrastructure, transport links, power generation, as well as investment in local education and housing. | utsushi
24/11/2018 22:03 | Just noticed something. When Ironveld sold the original mercury recycling business it was sold to none other than John Wardle the CEO of amerisur and owner of tracarta Limited.https://beta | tommygriff
21/11/2018 15:55 | Another day of solid buying...but not enough to shift the price :-/ | bigwavedave
21/11/2018 13:54 | I wouldn't be looking on the Amer thread just now............. | ladeside
21/11/2018 13:43 | This is getting more interesting to take a position here, the fall on the placing announcement is typical of AIM these days. The time is perfect for the Vanadium part of this miner and will help make them into a profitable company. Time to do some digging on the BoD and what their experience and record is like | tradermel
20/11/2018 07:52 | lets hope that is the case santori..next 12 months will be interesting for sure. | brad44
20/11/2018 07:35 | Tando Resources (TNO) which owns 74% of the early stage SPD project on the Eastern Limb of the Bushveld Complex is exploring the possibility of mining high grade Vanadium pipes that sit on the surface within their deposit area, these pipes if confirmed could be DSO'able (Direct Shipping Ore). Ironveld's project on the Northern Limb of the Bushveld Complex is more advanced, has similarities in mineral resources to the Eastern Limb (formed at the same time) and is not for wanting in terms of scale or grade of Vanadium, with 1.4 billion pounds of Vanadium in-situ. Since V205 has risen 600% in the last 2 years, and Ironveld will very soon have a secondary gyratory crusher and magnetic separation unit, management identification of these high grade (1%-2%) V205 pipes, if they exist across our farms, may provide an additional source of early cash flow to the project, and put this company firmly on the Vanadium global map. | utsushi
19/11/2018 20:42 | looks like mms were trying to put people off buying today...looks like another bushveld in the making | temmujin
19/11/2018 08:21 | Looks like this company is finally starting to get things done. Let's hope the share price follows suit shortly. | vatnabrekk
19/11/2018 08:15 | Well todays news has produced a flat calm! Never understand why a fundraise causes such a negative reaction. Minor dilution, restrained amount raised and most importantly to be used for purchases of equipment that will only help the company develop. Still not investded here yet! | tradermel
13/11/2018 12:14 | Well I am waxing down my surfboard in anticipation of the wave which I think will come . I just hope I don't get wiped out ! | annie38
10/11/2018 14:14 | PR on all Giles companies is extremely poor. We could have rode the vanadium wave without doing anything if they had the right media people involved! | tommygriff
10/11/2018 10:38 | A report on the rising price of Vanadium. No mention of IRON, however. | bigwavedave |
