I would agree that it is a puzzle why the funding has not been sorted earlier,particularly as there is a considerable personal financial incentive for both G.C.and Nick Harrison to get this off the ground, in view of their very substantial shareholding.
Perhaps Giles will eventually be forced to delve into his own back pocket for some loose change !

Would be even nicer if the author had no vested interest . Regarding "something's missing" it's 4p per share in my case !

Yes, something is not quite right as they have been unable to raise funding for years, either for the new smelter or now for the acquisition.

This tweet yesterday made me chuckle.....

Same old copy & paste nonsense in RNS this morning except now saying production hoped for within 6 months of financial close at Middlesburg, NOT the next month as they previously said.

Peter Cox extremely excited naturally and as usual (to see salary and perks extending well into next year). Says there are new developments post period end to report, doesn't say when.

Well at least the Ironveld £200k recent placing allocation to teathersapp was fully taken today and is now fully funded. Anyone here partake in the placing via this route?

All we know is that finance talks are ongoing. Would not surprise me if the finance talks go on for longer than the talks on Brexit !

If some major positive news lands in say 4 weeks or so then this recent placing would be highly suspect(mates rates). I'm still somewhat surprised they managed to raise a fairly high amount all in one go.
