Another unregulated PR fluff piece from Slippery Eales. The last one at about this time of year worked out exactly the way he said it would - not. He neglected to mention then that Grosvenor did not have the cash. I can't be bothered to listen to this one, but I am sure he has neglected to mention that he does not have the cash.

It's a good job I am here to remind everyone of the realities, just as it is a good job you are here to remind us of GC's track record. IRON has most certainly been a horror story with lots of tricks and no treats and all the confetti it has issued would make a great bonfire, though some are clearly still hoping some good news will light the blue touch paper on the share price

I am firmly in the keep Xmas in December camp. However I did order my first Xmas presents from Amazon earlier today.

Nah, Remembrance seems inappropriate and I just recently had a message from someone who was already wrapping up their Xmas Presents.. you'll be seeing Christmas Trees in Windows soon. Gets earlier every year.

A little annoyed that I didn't predict your comment on the smelter deal not completing though.

Thought you might have gone for something Halloween / bonfire night / remembrance day related. The Christmas cheer will come from the auditors in their going concern emphasis of matter in the Annual Report. Will IRON try to bury it by putting it out on Christmas eve or will they use the time between Christmas and New Year? It has to be out by 31 Dec.

There's been a few suggestions / insinuations over the piece of Align punting their shares here at cheap prices in order to crash our share price

It could happen of course, however I'd like to point out that our Directors currently hold over 14% of Kazera between them so would find that type of attack highly unlikely given the more than likely reciprocal response.

"subject to the fulfilment of certain conditions" ... can you get proverbial blue balls from investing news, Ironveld are certainly doing their best.

JW on board as a non-exec... jobs for the boys or has he pushed for the position as a major shareholder?

I don't think JW is a bad appointment either way. In fact he's probably one of the better candidates GC could have, it's just not that interesting to me unless GC didn't want it... I guess that's something we'll never find out.

RS, yes, JW oversaw some operational mistakes and horrendous delays at Amerisur. He also oversaw some fantastic deals and development. Amerisur probably wouldn't have made it to production without him. I've always had him down as a decent enough professional (likes his options) who had some difficult decisions to make. Plat was destroyed by the shut in, but it's hard to say what alternatives he had given transport costs and the oil price. I'd be interested to know how much influence he had on the sale process, he certainly left a healthy prospect at the very beginning of it's development, which I don't think would sit very well with him.

I'd tend to give him the benefit of the doubt and hope that he's forced his way on to the board to shake things up, but at the end of the day he's only a non-exec so... meh!

The deal completing and the financing to profitability getting clarified are what counts and neither of those things have happened yet so back to sleep. Feels like news to keep people interested, stating what the conditions are would have made it real news, but alas...

A few more taking advantage of the fools' spike to offload, but no sign of our big (10m+ in one trade) seller. Maybe they are already out or maybe not.

How am I looking against my falsifiable prediction made here:

Here is a falsifiable prediction: By the time I get round to running the guess the date of the 2023 placing competition in the new year, the share price will have closed with a bid price of 0.36p or more, no more than 5 times.

Looking good so far.

He did say another major shareholder had told him that he voted against the placing which is why RJ felt he had defeated the Special on the Broker Warrants. Was that JW?

Just remembered Rec I also told him to get Wardle/Tracarta on side because I thought he may not have been very pleased with Clarke having bought several million at far, far higher prices (at the time it was trading just under a penny). Jennings said he took that up and I think even said so officially somewhere he had the support of Tracarta, or at least intimated it.

Ace,

I would be interested to know, if you are prepared to repeat it / paraphrase it, what you said to RJ.

Did JW turn round AMER? - he did manage to sell it, well below what I thought it was worth, but that could well be because I thought it was worth far more than it really was. Also during the time I was in AMER don't recall any massive funding black holes, just a lot of operational delays and disappointments. I would very much welcome Al's view on that

Well there's a surprise - confirms what I said to Mr Jennings and that he is a lying idiot!

I guess that finds agreement with Rec 😊
