23/10/2021 11:04 | Ladeside - yes, agreed re your recent posts. Feeling relieved after all this time (years!) waiting for something concrete to actually happen.I thought we would have exceeded 1p on yesterday's news but I'm sure that'll come in due course.I did have a look to see if I could find any info on Thembinkosi Ndlovu and Grosvenor Resources but drew a blank. Maybe he's better in SA business circles.Looking forward to seeing more real progress at long last! | bigwavedave
23/10/2021 11:03 | The Gold Fields Of Sardinia seems many many moons away. Quite a ride but hopefully a smoother journey this time! | alfieduncan
23/10/2021 09:52 | Some idiotic comments both positive and negative, however the facts remain that the company is completely de-risked now and 1.5p - 2p is likely to be the new base once all the dust settles. What happens after that is very much news dependent but I'm in no rush as I can see history repeating itself a la CHACO / AMER early days...... | ladeside
23/10/2021 08:32 | John Casey, can you stop ramping your stocks on other threads please mate 👍 | spary1
22/10/2021 22:34 | 3p-5p + potential next week on the back of prominent press exposure like this: | shanew48
22/10/2021 21:32 | In your opinion | smcl
22/10/2021 21:24 | Watch the slow downturn next week. | letmepass
22/10/2021 20:11 | Silly numbers, silly questions = silly people. You are better than that; you have not realised it yet. The weekend has healing powers - embrace them shanew48. Things just got better. Even JC is happy without any accompanying BS. How is that possible? We have the weekend to ponder. Good turnaround :-) | ahhh luke warm
22/10/2021 18:24 | What sort of offer would you expect from the chinese? 30-50p + per share? | shanew48
22/10/2021 17:37 | Although I already have quite a few of these, I actually had another top up at 0.89 today as basically believe it's a no brainer. I did think about buying yesterday (at 0.60), however believe it or not I'm actually far happier purchasing at 0.90 to day than 0.60 yesterday, given that the story has changed so dramatically in the past 12 hours. Make no mistake, Ironveld was still a major risk up until this mornings news, Yes, myself and others believed / hoped that it would come good but the risk remained (as it does on all AIM companies at this stage of their development) and it was very real. Today however, that risk has been removed, we no longer need to worry about only being fully funded to March 2022, we now have cash in the Bank, we have a group of very ambitious investors who know the area and the political climate, we have a very competent board with a plan and we have the backing of the likes of Align who are obviously one of our major shareholders. There's lots happening like the rubber stamping of our Luge licences and I'm sure there's wheeling and dealing happening in the background which will see even more funding appearing (and at a good level given our sp), from there it's full steam ahead with the smelter which will very quickly provide great cash flow and profit which should then snowball as we become bigger and more profitable. The other question is, now that we're on the radar and things are starting to move, how long will it take to come on the radar of the Chinese ?? Who knows, we may even receive an early term takeout offer that we can't refuse ??? Anyway, things are looking very, very good here now and I think we should just all sit back and see where it takes us, as by God, some of us long termers definitely deserve it !!! | ladeside
22/10/2021 17:31 | Thanks Smcl. If IRON does as well as some lithium stocks we won't be complaining. Though some lithium stocks do look overvalued, and IRON looks a safer bet. | hedgehog 100
22/10/2021 17:04 | Stunning day, been a long hold here. Just the start though imho. | coldspring
22/10/2021 17:03 | Probably II's who can see 10/15/20p + potential now this year at some point! still under the radar as very little exposure across social media as of yet but should presumably see some nice prominent national media exposure over this weekend so next week should see the 2-3p + area hit you would imagine! | shanew48
22/10/2021 16:51 | still off the radar by most on advfn..so i wonder who was buying bigtime? | johncasey

22/10/2021 16:26 | A couple of interesting articles - one from several years ago, although it still looks relevant. And they makes a compelling case that vanadium is far superior to lithium for energy storage, using multiple criteria. "Lithium or Vanadium: In Energy Storage, It’s No Contest By Bill Watkins - 7.10.2014" "Can Vanadium Flow Batteries beat Li-ion for utility-scale storage? September 4, 2019 by James Conca It’s taken 40 years for lithium-ion battery technology to evolve into its current state, powering everything from the smallest electronic devices to Tesla’s 100MW battery farm in southern Australia. But utility-scale Li-ion batteries are rare. 99% of grid storage today is pumped hydro, a solution that will always be limited by geographical and environmental constraints. For utility-scale chemical batteries to take off they need a new technology, says Jim Conca, and that technology is the Vanadium Flow Battery. He explains how the V-flow battery outcompetes Li-ion, and any other solid battery, for utility-scale applications. They’re safer, more scalable, longer-lasting, and there’s much more Vanadium than Lithium in the Earth’s crust. But commercialisation suffers from the high cost of Vanadium extraction. So researchers are working on how to store more electricity through improved chemistry, and improved cell and stack designs. And, of course, lowering the cost of that Vanadium extraction. Conca plots a pathway to making V-flow batteries less than half the cost of Li-ion per kWh. ..." | hedgehog 100
22/10/2021 16:21 | yes 3-5p should be the current share price if MM's decided to play fair! | shanew48
22/10/2021 16:06 | IRON's total assets as at 31st. December were £26.635M.: i.e. about 2p per share at present: 30/03/2021 07:00 UK Regulatory (RNS & others) Ironveld PLC Interim results for the 6 months ended 31 Dec 2020 LSE:IRON Ironveld Plc Add to this the new funds announced today of well over £5M., and IRON'S net assets should be well over £30M. | hedgehog 100
