Is that shares or pounds John if its £1 mil buy would be impressive if it's shares that's all of £7,500 hardly earth shattering given the non movement in price I would imagine its the latter.

I’ve got a feeling we’ll end up in a JV. I can’t see this going for 1p because that’s only £5 million. Considering AAU managed to enter into a JV for 50% of one of their assets yesterday and get a cash consideration of £30 million alongside it. It would be absolute madness to let this go for around 1p considering it’s worth 10 times the asset that AAU is selling off.

I will be happy with 1p now. Not sure why its taking so long for the strategic review to be completed. As with Amerisur Im not expecting any agreed offer to be an offer that xant be refused . There must be problems we are not aware of. Maybe a problem relating to transferring of Assets. Hopefully some update before Xmas but Im not confident of a good conclusion

Still no sign of all those bidders willing to pay top dollar for a hunk of undeveloped land still hoping we get something around the 1p mark.

The current Market price is not around 0.7p for nothing. The Market is not stupid. There is very little buying interest here. The volume of shares traded every day is minimal and clearly indicates that any offer should it happen will be nothing like a 10-bagger.

Its nothing like EUA. I own decent holdings in both but Im only expecting a very low agreeed offer here. Yes its worth more than the 1p offer I expect but following the debacle at Amerisur Giles Clarke just wants out.

i think this share is the closest thing we have to EUA at the moment so expect a bagger at least

It’s an interesting one this share. The ideal outcome would be a JV. We need to find someone willing to lay the capital down to bring it into production. I’d like to think we’ll get over the 1p mark otherwise someone is getting a mega bargain here. It’s more interesting that the directors bought in for much higher than current share price too. Hopefully now they’ve made some money on Amer they could put some money into here and keep it going until they get a decent offer.

Not sure an RNS from June 2013 relating to another company is relevant to Ironveld. As I have said previously Im not expecting a high cash offer here. It maybe no greater than 1p. This strategic review has been going on for a very long time. I also expect an update prior to Xmas

In a mining sector bear market, there are many sellers and few buyers.
This means that projects that were previously valued highly can only sell for a fraction of what they were valued at previously, if at all. -

20 Jun 2013 7:00 am RNS Factsheet Copper Development (CDC) Final Results
" ... On the basis of the CTR, the Company embarked on an aggressive marketing campaign for a potential sale or joint venture of the project, contacting several Chinese mining companies and some ninety Canadian and Australian junior and mid-sized mining companies, as well as several Philippine mining companies. Despite the attractiveness of the Hinoba-an Project and the continuing strength of the prospects for long term copper prices, interest of Chinese mining companies in a trade sale or a joint venture has been tempered by the territorial dispute in the South China Sea between China and the Philippines. Other strategic partners or buyers for Hinoba-an are restricted due to limited cash resources and the inability to raise additional funds in current financial markets. The Company continues to actively seek prospective buyers or joint venture partners though the outcome is highly uncertain given the current distressed market conditions. ... "

I dont think any offer will be as low as 0.4p but with Giles Clarke who I no longer trust you just never know. Im still going for around 1p cash offer. Im certainly not expecting a much higher offer. Im sure all will be revealed in due course.

Underhill thats my point around two months and its crunch time, I agree with you it will be low ball offer even if they managed to get a placing away to raise a mil or so it would prob have to be at the 0.4 price area even then it would only delay the day of reckoning for six months or so.

See RNS dated 30th September 2019 which explains they have enough cash until the end of January 2020. Im expecting news before Xmas. As with Amerisur Im now expecting a very low agreed offer. Probaly around the 1p mark. Of course its worth a lot more but cash is king at present
