18/12/2019 12:56 | Im a holder here and 10p offer is never going to happen. Even an agreed offer at 1p looks very unlikely. The current low share price and minimal volume of shares traded tells us that. I think we wont get any cash offer but will enter into a Joint Venture which will in the medium/long term add shareholder value. Otherwise why appoint a new CEO if an agreed cash offer was in the pipeline. He has been apppointed to oversee the JV when it comes. This is all my opinion and would of course be delighted with any agreed cash offer over 1p. 10p is just an impossible dream offer ! | underhill2
18/12/2019 12:17 | All seems to have gone quite on the 10p bid | clarea
12/12/2019 09:24 | mm's want full 0.8p to buy online, if nobody bails them out the price should rise again towards 0.9p | dave4545
10/12/2019 09:15 | I meant a paid ramper ! | underhill2
10/12/2019 09:12 | John is just a paid deramper. He is a waste of space and best ignored. He reckons news this week. As always he will be wrong. No news until next year and it will be an agreed Joint Venture. At le ast something is happening after all these years of non activity | underhill2
10/12/2019 09:03 | Well it all begins on 16th December so hopefully a nice Christmas present. | sabre6
09/12/2019 19:57 | Fair enough I'll take that instead underhill2 | dave4545
09/12/2019 19:56 | It wont be sold. They will enter into an agreed Joint Venture. Thats why they appointed a new CEO last week. This will benefit all shareholders in the future as it will add shareholder value and result in a much higher sh re price | underhill2
09/12/2019 19:50 | At one point it was the strongest bid since the last spike to 1.35p bid intraday. They were bidding a million at 0.86p and it was N/T to buy at 0.95p but then the sellers appeared and knocked it right back then the mm's shook it to a even lower price. I still think there's is going to be a surprise massive return here, around 2-4p a share but when that happens is anybody's guess, in the meantime trade the big spikes when they happen and keep some incase of a 7am surprise sale Rns | dave4545
09/12/2019 19:29 | interesting they let you spread bet on line today when price rose...obviously fishing for sells..i reckon news this week | johncasey
09/12/2019 17:24 | Volume was above the three month rolling average today | clarea
09/12/2019 17:02 | No one has shown any interest in getting involved in this for years to the point of constrcting the needed infra structure maybe someone will step forward now knowing they need to get some cash from somewhre come March next year. Made a loss of 600k last year and can;t see that figure improving in the next twelve months assuming they survive that long. Negative enterprise value of nearly 4 mil doesn't help, people say abour Amer but they had $9 mil in cash aand they were forecast to make £9.5 mil profit. I think John is getting more desperate with his ramps we will be up to a quid by the end of the week. | clarea
09/12/2019 10:07 | who knows maybe 20p | johncasey
09/12/2019 10:05 | underhill's a habitual whinger..if this hit 20p he'd still whinge | johncasey
09/12/2019 10:02 | Amerisur BOD on shutting down production at Plat: "The oil has been in the ground for thousands of years, it's not going anywhere" Sounds remarkably similar sabre6. | al101uk
09/12/2019 09:39 | 10p coming | johncasey
09/12/2019 09:39 | Not much stock around atm hence the spike on low volumes | dave4545
09/12/2019 09:17 | According to GC the stuff is just lying on the ground and you can more or less just pick it up. | sabre6
08/12/2019 22:32 | Back to IRON, it’s very interesting times. Provided we can actually secure something before March, I genuinely believe a sale would be around 3-6p. A JV on the other hand, well who knows. We have billions of pounds worth in the ground, possibly more with further exploration. It all depends on how many parties are currently interested as to whether or not we have any leverage of our own to drive the price up. | moneymaker2015
08/12/2019 22:21 | Annie you have hit the nail on the head. GC did an excellent job at AMER. He managed to keep the company afloat during very tough market times when others were going bump. Then when the market valued the share a 12p he turned down a bid of 17p saying it was worth considerably more, which he was 100% correct as they got £30 million more! For a company that wasn’t doing well financially that’s outstanding! There’s just far too many bitter people that bought in at the wrong time, when every oil company's share around the globe was dropping also. People are just using GC as the scapegoat for their bad decisions! | moneymaker2015
08/12/2019 20:51 | U2: I was more than happy to be aboard the AMER gravy train (driven by G.C.) which went from 2p to over 60p. Shame if you were not aboard, or perhaps got off at the wrong station, but some folk made life changing sums of money from that trip. | annie38
08/12/2019 18:52 | All Giles Clarke does with all his companies is destroy shareholder value. He is an expert at doing that ! | underhill2
08/12/2019 18:45 | I think you missed the 0. in front of your estimate John if they get a JV partner they will have to give away a huge percentage of the company value to be fair the alternative is probably a total wipe out. Total destruction of share holder value over the years. | clarea |
