                               Additional Listing


Application has today been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock
Exchange for a total of 240,921 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company
("Ordinary Shares") to be admitted to the Official List and to trading on the
London Stock Exchange's main market. These Ordinary Shares are being issued to
non-executive directors of the Company in payment of fees as follows:


156,966 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.08% of the issued share
capital of the Company, are being issued to Dr G.H.H. Ainsworth in settlement of
his Chairman's fees for the second quarter of 2003. Following this issue, Dr
G.H.H. Ainsworth will be interested in 1,152,149 Ordinary Shares, representing
approximately 0.61% of the issued share capital of the Company.


83,955 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.04% of the issued share
capital of the Company, are being issued to Mr S. Gibson in settlement of his
non-executive director's fees for the second quarter of 2003. Following this
issue, Mr S. Gibson will be interested in 306,052 Ordinary Shares, representing
approximately 0.16% of the issued share capital of the Company.


Admission of all the Ordinary Shares is expected to become effective on 11 July
2003.
