These shorters must be thick as f@@k
They should be traders & locking in profits
But they are acting as though they
Are investors (short)
Why not just be real investors & go
Long !!

Deep-ultraviolet gallium nitride quantum dots in aluminium nitride

The researchers say that the 40% IQE is more than two times the highest reported value for AlGaN QW-based heterostructures at comparable short deep-UV wavelengths.

runthe joules - The shorters themselves hoping for a turnaround are reporting the shorts. The tech stock are recovery - after a long fall - is not arranging their original plans.

APHRODITES: - Where did your info on the shorters come from? I had a look on the FCA site and it is still showing just the 3 shorters.

You'd think about 33% profit would be enough for those greedy shorters. Maybe the big boss is on holiday and can't be reached to give permission. Not that I'm doing any better as a PI.

IQE had their 'annual meeting' the week before last, the key managers from all the divisions met along with the 'board members' to discuss tactics, team- building, research , present papers and listen to invited speakers. I am told it was an extremely successful few days with objectives fulfilled. It was an internal meeting, it obviously discussed many 'business issues' but no customers were involved.

I am doing some research on the 'infrared division' at present, things there are seemingly looking very good indeed, will come back when I have something to contribute

This is the latest update on the 3D camera problem. It is Romeo that is the problem. Romeo is the dot projector apparently??

Extract from the Fortune article:

"...........Apple has remained silent about its possible manufacturing woes, but the company's decision to release the iPhone X in November instead of a September timeframe like its iPhone 8 might be telling. Apple, it seems, needed some additional time to get its high-end smartphone to store shelves.

But exactly how this Romeo and Juliet problem will affect the iPhone X is unknown. The Journal's sources said that the problems have largely been addressed, and now the production process is moving along at a reasonable pace. But considering Apple has faced both screen and Face ID manufacturing problems, there's a chance that its supply will be constrained for at least some time...."

Lumentum next CC due 1 st week of November will be very interesting, coming a few days after the iphoneX launch
Up to now they have said they had received $200million worth of orders for their ( IQE VCSEL ENABLED) 3D sensor chips, this was then increased to $300million. The figure they will give at the next CC will be the orders received by Friday 30th September , the end of their 1/4

The statement will be interesting but the CC Q&A will be the REAL event to watch/ listen to.

It's interesting to see share price mobpvements but I prefer to concentrate on the fundamentals- if they are sorted the share price looks after itself.

Having said that at some stage I think the Lumentum share price is gonna race off the chart

And I quote the analyst in the article '“Lumentum has been working on this stuff for at least a decade,” Henderson said. He expects the 3-D laser market to be worth as much as $2 billion by 2020. Lumentum shares are up 65 percent over the past year. A Lumentum spokesman declined to comment.'

Additionally, Lumentum makes lasers used in 3-D sensors and controls about three-quarters of that market, according to Alex Henderson, a Needham & Co. analyst. The Milpitas, California-based supplier expects to deliver $200 million worth of lasers this year, most of which will end up in iPhones. Prior to July, Lumentum’s total cumulative revenue from that market was around $5 million, according to Henderson.

You'd be surprised how often shares follow related shares. I'd assume certainly a blue open a couple of pence , from then on I don't know

Lumentum currently up 9% on the day.

Difficult to know if it will impact IQE's share price tomorrow but it is a good news story and as Sweenoid points out if our customers are doing well then so should we.
