'The Offer would be comprised of new Shares to be issued by the Company and an offer of existing Shares to be sold by certain existing shareholders'

I have to admit having top sliced my holding this afternoon at 154.4. The valuation now looks at (or even slightly above)asset value even allowing for a significant uplift in the valuation of the ONT holding. I do not foresee a big drop from here, but upside looks limited short term and there may be a chance to buy back in the 140s. If not I still have half my holding and will be happy to be proven wrong.

A nice safe doubler for me, with more to come. And a small divi.

This ones quite simple to call (and has been since nano started going well, probably a year ago now?). Almost certain to rise irrespective of everything else once the nano float gets near and generating publicity. Not sure of the reasons i bought in initially (jan 20, 67p), i knew nothing of nano then, i guess just a big discount to nav - i certainly wasn't keen on several of their ways of working. But they've changed, now paying a divi and istr they're going to return some of the cash they rise at the nano float to shareholders. Full to bursting already with cash, so makes sense. plenty more cash than even generous invesments in new prospects over the coming years.

Oxbotica and AppliedEV to develop fully autonomous multi-purpose vehicle

Oxbotica and AppliedEV have announced a collaboration to develop a fully autonomous, multi-purpose electric vehicle capable of being deployed in a wide range of environments for a variety of commercial applications.

The project will see Oxbotica integrate its world-leading autonomous vehicle software with AppliedEV’s programmable and configurable EV platform. The vehicle will be driverless, marking a huge step on the journey towards commercial autonomy.

Industrial logistics and goods delivery will be the first industries targeted for deployment, with continued growth expected in further industries as the number of vehicles scaled.

The go-to-market strategy for Oxbotica and AppliedEV is to focus on markets that have immediate economic business cases, and a mature regulatory environment to enable deployment at scale.

The AppliedEV platform, Blanc Robot, is modular and fully flexible, designed to operate as a fully autonomous vehicle and configurable for specific applications, such as logistics or industrial. AppliedEV offers the Blanc Robot with an all-wheel-drive system, in either an off-road or on-road specification. Battery size is matched to the duty and charge cycles, with total efficiency up to 10 miles/kWh. This versatility is a perfect match for Oxbotica’s Universal Autonomy software platform.

Paul Newman, Founder & CTO of Oxbotica, said: “Working in collaboration with AppliedEV to provide the market with an autonomy solution comprising both hardware and software with the highest safety standards is a singular and unifying goal. We have an ambitious deployment goal over the coming years, driven by an extraordinary market appetite for a world-class product.”

Julian Broadbent, Founder & CEO of AppliedEV, said: “Oxbotica and AEV both see an opportunity in the market to come together with a unique offering of strong commercial outcomes as early as 12 months. The real value of automated vehicles is to operate without the presence of a driver with high levels of safety. There are not many instances where you will find full autonomous vehicles in the market doing a real job, with real economics. Removing the driver and passengers reduces the risk and creates new levels of value and service.”

Alex Harvey, Chief of Advanced Technology of Ocado Technology commented on the collaboration: “We are really excited and supportive of this collaboration between Oxbotica and AppliedEV as we see it as an important step on our journey to developing advanced autonomous mobility solutions for the Ocado Smart Platform.”

Saw this exchange on Twitter over the weekend. The US based long read companies PacBio and 10x can't handle the length of read required. Illumina hardware is limited to detailed short reads.

This is the kind of thing that makes ONT such a compelling investment.

=====================================================

...we (non-profit org) are working on creating gene therapies for children suffering from terminal neurodegenerative condition. We need help with ultra long read sequence. PacBio and 10x Genomics could not phase the allele. Can you or anyone in your community help?

Happy to discuss this. Sent you a DM!

What is the distance across of which you need to phase variants?

The gene is ~180kb, given that 10x could not phase - we would need the longest we can possibly get. I think we failed earlier with 10x - because there are some regions with greater than 30kb of either homozygous mutations or none.

This has been a quality hold so far. There are hidden gems in the portfolio, even some others would denigrate. A bit of news/luck and good stuff can suddenly happen.

GROW was/is along these lines. Also hold MERC.

p1nk, I often start by screening for fundamentals to choose a chart candidate.

Mine's not really traditional, in-depth candle analysis, more simple pattern, trendline and support/resistance led. It comes in for quite some criticism, which is why I now minimise posting to the threads where it is accepted as a useful addendum.

It's purely the accuracy in some calls that gives me the confidence to go on posting. There are some reasonable examples on the APEX thread. The certainty about the recent continuation pattern here meant 90% of trading capital was allotted to IPGroup. This has been reduced slightly in the last week.

Thanks for your support.

There's much to be said for indepth TA but too complicated for me. About 3 indicators us enough for me, say 5 at a push. More than that, or a busy chart, and my head explodes.

Keep it up bb2. Glad someone does it.
