My mistake alxo, you are correct, same first two initials as LOG which is the largest shareholder with Lombard Odier being the second!

bountyhunter, LOG selling? Isn't Lombard Odier the seller?

I am not a chartist but that recent breakout from the lows looks very strong. II's finally taking an interest I hope.

I can only see the one tweet 6 days ago re Baron buying an IOG stake; have there been any since that I have missed?

Yes Lombard Odier have reduced to 13.50% from 14.46% on Friday (corrected!).
It must be about time for the purchaser to submit a TR1? assuming a single entity.

Good sign that Baron investments have been buying and holding here. Checking their tweets. It was their interest that brought Serica SQZ to the masses attention in the 10p share price region which sits at 295p today from being over 300pGLA.

I would think it will go to low 40s before a period of consolidation. At that point some people who bought at that point originally will sell through relief of getting their money back. Same applies as we go up, there are always sellers. I would expect Richard Griffiths and the Odier discretionary accounts to lighten up too. On the other hand individuals and funds with different risk profiles will take their place, this is simply how the market works. We'll also need that period of consolidation to accumulate gas sales. The value of the company is sensitive to gas prices and thus revenue this year simply because of how much of that revenue comes back to the company. It is less sensitive in the out years when taxes fully kick in. It makes it very difficult to value the company so the share price will tend on the conservative side.

Yes we've had enough drama here already, keeping on track needs to be the priority then we should all be happy, eventually.

Well the target is 65p for now so no drama. Just keep production going and filling the coffers reaping the high gas price spoils.

I think we will find ourselves in early thirties this week which will be nice considering "quiet summers".
A good time for an acquisition as well - taking over IOG - not them taking something (material) over I hasten to add!!

Less buying pressure today but you can certainly (dummy) sell about 100k pretty easily.

"...An executive from London-listed Serica Energy told Sunak the windfall tax would disproportionately harm smaller oil and gas producers compared to their larger rivals, which have big global portfolios of assets.

Executives asked for several key commitments from Sunak, including a review of the windfall tax every six months. The levy has a so-called sunset clause that would remove it at the end of 2025.
....
....
This month he indicated that a retreat in prices to a range of $60-$70 a barrel may be the trigger for the levy’s repeal. Brent crude was trading at $111 a barrel on Thursday..."

There have been times when you can sell higher than you can buy. The spread has been consistently tight. You can sell in quantity. Increased volumes. Come on down SQZ...your prize is awaiting.

Can still dummy sell (just below) 500k here - bizarre - never one to enter into conspiracy theories but it is starting to look compelling value here?
Best of luck all.
