There certainly "seems" to be a buyer around?
EDIT f me - change that to 500k?! Can't be bothered to try anymore - but someone wants our shares!!

As anticipated another TR1 today with LOG reducing yesterday by another 1% to 14.46%, again good riddance!

It does seem unfair. The proposed US windfall tax is on companies with minimum revenues exceeding $1bn - a fairer proposal than the UK one, which also punishes minnows!

Thanks hpcg.
I meant that IOG is nothing like B.P. or shell and still a minnow. Seems a bit unfair to tax a small enterprise though.

mxidi - 1. we are producing, 2. yes it applies to all production within the UKCS as of the date it was announced, 3. It is largely mitigated by the works programme we have, but if revenue exceeds that capacity then that just indicates how much cash the company is generating.

Will a windfall tax affect IOG I wonder. As it is not yet producing (so to speak) I would have thought not.

Well whichever the side of the fence you are on I think we are all at one with the fact that anything he says means nothing...the windfall tax being just one example that springs to mind

Yes indeed. The nagging concerns holding on to the shirttails of the share price is the near term issues which have been rolling out over the months since first gas..although it does seem that we are looking as if we are nearly through the worst of the start up teething issues.

The lesson here surely, by now, is to be concerned with the business not the share price. I am so so thankful to the sellers that couldnĀ“t see through a couple of weeks of delay for a company printing money. I am so thankful to those that sold, and to be fair took good profits, at first gas when the first project had largely been de-risked. At this rate of gas prices not only will the company be debt free within a year but the company will have returned a significant proportion of today's enterprise value. Returns slow once the tax losses have been used up. The company could even offer up a dividend at the full year, which would be astonishing.

More like Lombard still selling IMO...but its all a guess. However, it does feel a different place to where it was before the update and the chart agrees.
