27/4/2022 08:15 | NBP Nat Gas up 10% this morning. | bountyhunter
26/4/2022 21:42 | Eventually IOG will rebound sharply IMO - too much in their favour. Bought 8000 odd more today :) | thelongandtheshortandthetall
26/4/2022 21:38 | Russia to cut gas off from Poland and Bulgaria "European gas prices surged as much as 17% as traders calculated the risk of other European countries being hit next." | bountyhunter
25/4/2022 19:37 | Should be ok as long as flow rates ultimately meet expectations and the Southwark rig doesn't break another leg ;) For chartists the long term chart is still just about looking ok. Also gas futures are still looking strong... | bountyhunter
25/4/2022 19:22 | Not often I'm in front. So 35p wasn't the bottom after all. | fardels bear
25/4/2022 17:46 | It's behind you! | bountyhunter
25/4/2022 16:39 | It was you! | fardels bear
25/4/2022 13:39 | The spread doesn't help | bountyhunter
25/4/2022 13:31 | Looking at the trades some big sells going through. Just wondering if any more selling down of the 26.99% stake. | montyhedge
25/4/2022 10:26 | FROM MALCY'S BLOG last week...... IOG I attended the IOG presentation to private investors on Wednesday evening and it was most impressive. Having got to first production at Phase 1 in such a timeframe, especially given the bumps in the road is laudable. With its first cheque in the bank IOG can now move forward with its portfolio of assets in the Southern North Sea and it has many plans including short term wells to be drilled. The company talked about hedging where the plan is only to do what is strictly needed and to pay down debt so that one day in the future a dividend or buy-back can be considered. With that exciting portfolio to get stuck into, the outlook for IOG looks good especially if you take into account that it is now a key supplier of low carbon domestic gas in a market which will be a huge net buyer for years to come. These North Sea gas/oil shares are not short term punts but to be held for a longish period or until someone pops up to rationalise the North Sea sector. | anley
25/4/2022 10:16 | Yes, and Buffett cannot be excluded. | bountyhunter
25/4/2022 10:10 | Could be an outsider..Rates IOG production and promise higher than the management? | officerdigby
25/4/2022 09:46 | I hope you're right mm as I hold both and £178m + a premium would be a snip for SQZ who could quite possibly buy IOG from their cash balance (depending on price :) A good strategy for SQZ might be to agree a price for LOG's holding at a reasonable offer price if that could be agreed and then go hostile when IOG management reject a bid. 45-50p/shr would offer a decent premium. All imho and pure speculation with nai! | bountyhunter
25/4/2022 09:21 | I'd say this is definitely a stock with perceived weak management and whilst a down market day, such stocks will be hit harder than general market sentiment? The ridiculous situation of not updating market regarding end of year profiles must be contributing to that as well? All IMHO. | dunderheed
25/4/2022 09:17 | OfficerDigby...I wish it was just a down day but that chart says something different unfortunately for us | marvelman
25/4/2022 09:15 | Just a market down day. Added to poor sentiment here. Because poorly worded RNSs. No management confidence in production... Apparently not enough confidence to even make a strong investment case even at a company investor event. What is that about? LOL | officerdigby
25/4/2022 09:07 | ....and I would not be at all surprised if it was SQZ in the frame Edit...they would certainly not be overpaying now | marvelman
25/4/2022 08:59 | You could be right mm and if so we should see a TR1 at some point not just for LOG but also for the buyer. | bountyhunter
25/4/2022 08:57 | My feeling remains that with this unjustified crashing of the share price LOG is helping to facilitate a low ball entry point for someone. We know we cannot trust any of these of the in crowd who will surely all be patting themselves on the back (and their wallets) when it is seen through to its finality. | marvelman
25/4/2022 08:50 | LOG are not going to give their fees earning stake away Monty as already discussed. | bountyhunter
25/4/2022 08:48 | At this rate the board will be revaluing their options or issuing themselves more lol! You have to laugh while we await those elusive stable flow rates and ideally some initial revenue figures by the time they let us know. | bountyhunter
25/4/2022 08:48 | I was joking when I said 25p for that 26.99% stake, not so sure now. | montyhedge
25/4/2022 08:33 | IOG doing well this morning, FFS. | dunderheed
22/4/2022 15:43 | Bought them for the wife's ISA. Let's hope Warren is right. | fardels bear
22/4/2022 14:39 | Well I'm still hoping you have brought us some luck FB | marvelman |
