Before everyone gets hot under the collar again. A reminder of the ADVFN T&Cs. Article 10 states:

"You agree to not post (or transmit) (i) any information which in ADVFN's sole opinion is objectionable including, without limit, information which is defamatory, obscene, threatening, untrue or in breach of any applicable laws, rules, regulations..."

I'm not bothered who did what to who or on what thread.

Jackabite- there are clearly lots of contributory factors to the fall including, in your words, incompetence of of the BOD.

I don't see anybody arguing against that.

tsmith2 - ir@iofina.com -just found it on the website - was in two minds about doing it as I'm sure they're busy but was very impressed with the speedy response and it's reassured me a bit.

superg. Everyone else who has very recently had contact with the company gives the details of that contact on here. No secrets.

YOU hear something, and say "just heard something but will leave it to the bod if it's true"

Spot the difference? If you want to regain any credibility here, I suggest that you once and for all give up the 'nudge, nudge, wink wink, I know something you don't know game'. Have you learnt nothing from these last few days?

Reassuring to know that they are aware of the stress caused to PIs and are doing something about it. Hopefully we will soon hear something to change sentiment.

Sent my suggestion to Iofina and had a very quick reply from Sam Huebner saying "We are exploring several options to combat the recent bear raid on the stock. "

ramu kumar - 13617: Most of us still in are feeling the heat and one of my colleagues who bought in because of my big mouth has called in sick - first day off in 30 years! I spoke to him and he's totally stressed out - what can one say?

Not your fault - his decision to buy ! If he is "totally stressed out" then he obviously over committed himself and that is entirely down to him.

I never "tip" but if a friend asks my advice on what stocks to invest in I will tell them what I've recently bought. However I always emphasise that they should check them out for themselves and neither blame or credit me if they bomb or multibag as it is always your own responsibility to make your own decisions !

tsmith - if I bought them at 37p how did I get fleeced, and if the other half were sold in the 150's I'm quite happy.

I wonder if the BOD have thought of trying to arrange an interview with Proactive Investors or similar. May help.

Was happy to call the floor and buy-in @13.35 today. I see no reason IOF will not now return to those recent director purchase price levels [~£1.00] and do so in double quick time, bullish indeed to see more of today's losses recouped though an intra-day reversal is probably asking a wee bit too much ;o). Not to be discounted however, stranger things have happened at sea after all.

For the technical specialists out there keep an eye on AMER.

Enjoy the break. K

Funny isn't it. There used to be a lot of noise about new profiles set up specfically to deramp IOF and there now seems to be many being set up to the do the exact opposite.

New profiles are as likely to be old posters embarrassed to post in their old names as former derampers turning the corner.

My buy order at 80 never got filled, never quite got there :(

Will leave it open for now.

What a year it has been, we've had some laughs haven't we?!? Seriously though, their are a lot of posters who have helped me over the last 12 months, thanks to all.
