24/9/2013 21:39 | Managed to finish meetings a day early and have just arrived in the UK. Ready for some good news and a decent rns in the morning. It is going to be an interesting day and the share price could go either way, but after the early fun and games we should move up. Hoping for production news, commissioning of IO3 and roll out. Some news on the water would be appreciated. Having said that, IOF could produce a stunning rns and sent the share price skyward. | ![]() rogerbridge

24/9/2013 20:53 | See, now we are talking, and that's why I think some have been confused when assuming things are a bit 'Grimm' (Jakob and Wilhelm) for IOF. That is all to do with the shift changeover at plants. 'io, io it's off to work we go' Gad got it right Iodine for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch on the iTunes App Store | ![]() superg1
24/9/2013 20:30 | We could have trouble, I hear Apple are very sensitive to people usin their name. Maybe we should claim the I from them as being an element and not patentable. LOL! | freshvoice

24/9/2013 19:13 | What are the chances of a double blue day tomorrow? FUM RNS on final approval of CE Mark followed by a well worded Interim RNS which properly lays out the great potential here over the coming months. I've got my fingers crossed! GLA | ![]() hotr0d
24/9/2013 18:14 | The RNS should be composed by the new CEO, as far as I know. | ![]() worraps
24/9/2013 18:05 | What we really need is for the RNS to be written by someone who can string 2 words together without it sounding like the Apocalypse. But I doubt it. Tin Hats on if it's by the same hand. | ![]() eeza
24/9/2013 17:59 | A quick reminder (just the first page of First Columbus note from May '13) : Target price 239p Previous target - Current price 188p Finalised plan for swift rollout Iofina has developed a proprietary process to extract iodine from the waste water brine streams coproduced by on-shore US oil and gas producers. IO#1 and IO#2, IOF's first major producing sites, have now proven the technology and the model by producing in excess of 300mt annually, at significantly lower cost than the rest of the industry. With a backlog of sites for further expansion, and a payback period of just 6-8 months, if Iofina can successfully execute its strategy, the Company is likely to become a major global iodine producer in the next few years. We believe IOF is at a pivotal point and justifies its striking share price performance of the past year. Execution is key but significant further upside is built into our target price. Buy. IO#1 and IO#2 prove the model Iofina has proven both its technology and its business model with its two initial sites. Monetising waste water, which carries a significant disposal cost, is an attractive model and the Company has a significant backlog for future rollout. Site OpEx of $10-20/kg compares favourably to the industry standard of $20-40/kg and results in site payback of as low as 6 months. New initiatives to enable expedited rollout fibre/resin-based construction could cut capital costs by 50% and enable site rollout to beat the stated target of 1 site per quarter. The further addition of Mobile units could rapidly expand the footprint and enable the Company to capitalise on the opportunity. Iodine price to remain strong Industry dynamics suggest the price range of $55- 65/kg will continue into at least 2014 as supply and demand remain balanced even at current levels, and major producers, who control supply, enjoy the wider margins. Further upside exists even at current prices Our DCF-derived target of 239p remains conservative in the speed of site rollout, brine flow and iodine content. Water Wildcard Industrial water production at Iofina's Atlantis project could provide a further $6m/month in revenues, at a very high margin. News on the Company's initial rights application is expected in Q3 2013 and could provide a major catalyst to the share price. | ![]() monts12

24/9/2013 16:22 | Warren Re 'There has been a huge amount of opinion one way or another on here time now for some cold hard facts' The difference is one side put a huge amount of work in to get an idea of what's going on, while the other side do nothing but try to undermine investor confidence with misinformation and scare tactics. So the likelihood is, updates will be of a nature in line with what I call, investors. What the price does is guesswork, it's all about supply and demand, but I'm sure some new institutions will be involved chatting to IOF this week. | ![]() superg1
