24/6/2014 20:31 | What's the betting we get 39mT to make it a nice round 100mT for the quarter ? | dcgray21
24/6/2014 20:20 | Monty - those numbers for the next 2-3 months stack up to lance's positioning at the AGM . | dcgray21
24/6/2014 20:16 | Super, I wasn't suggesting they were late, just what could happen IF they were. | freshvoicem
24/6/2014 19:43 | Sensible numbers there Monty, about what I'm looking for | 1madmarky
24/6/2014 17:47 | Fresh, Think you are looking at the micro situation. IOF are looking at producing "around 400mt" this year. That is the figure they need to hit for credibility. Last month was a cracking month where I think they pulled out all the stops to demonstrate what they can do. To achieve the 400t for this year they need to average about 42t per month for the next 7 months. Anything over 35t this month would mean they remain on target to produce over 400t. Production this month might be affected by a couple of things such a downtime at io1 whilst the testing of new chemicals takes place and also when trying to make the enhancements at other sites io3 or 4 it will also mean downtime. io6 should start in next couple of weeks with meaningful production from mid July. io5 is a mystery as it depends on external work to connect electricity. I hope for 35mt for June, 40-45 for July and then consistently above 50mt for August onwards. | monty panesar
24/6/2014 16:31 | What's late fresh. IOF they said by the end of this month, and AGM date hoped for io5 within a month but in the lap of the electricity service provider, surveys done etc. I suppose a service provider in the mid states know things can change swiftly on priorities depending on tornado events etc. The usual tornado season is now over. Bit daft to tank for something like that but hey ho. It's forced sells that generally cause any issues. EG, On a few shares it's obvious many take the credit facility time between the buy, and time to settle up period, shares 'bought' on cash they don't have, hoping to make a quick buck. I like to decide when to buy or sell anything, not some computer or settlement demand forcing me to do so. That's the way it is for those long, there are never any forced buys, only forced sells, and that most often is where the problem lies. EG When Mr Big mentioned buying at 50p ish I thought some may chance their arm on credit, thinking it may bounce, who knows........ Instis imo will wait for any supply agreement as IOF said, we will build pods/plants to suit demand, so why would they bother trying to guess, just wait and buy into an uptrend, as if a decent supply agreement appeared, it's not only extra production but guaranteed sales. AGM chattering seemed to suggest more than one was interested on that front, so we'll have to see if that turns into something. | superg1
24/6/2014 16:19 | Engelo, that remains to be proved, let's be honest! They have a long way to go to restore shareholder confidence in my opinion, doing the basics like sticking to schedule is a start, next few weeks are important. | diggulden
24/6/2014 16:19 | I would have thought at this price Mr. Big would be buying? | freshvoicem
24/6/2014 16:17 | If IO5 andIO6 are late at the June update this will really tank, however if they hit their targets it will soar. You just have to follow your instincts and your confidence in the new(original) management. | freshvoicem
24/6/2014 16:15 | dig: you're thinking of the bad old days ;-) The new regime keeps to schedule :-) | engelo
24/6/2014 15:59 | This stock is becoming one where in the absence of news, it goes down. Insti presentations a couple of weeks ago obviously had no effect as there certainly doesn't appear to have been any large buying. There is plenty in the pipeline, IO5 should be getting its power hook up any time soon, IO6 online by end of month and a June production update. All this in 'Iofina time' though of course, so who knows when. | diggulden
24/6/2014 15:58 | Cyber Daft really under the circs re the guesswork as if anyone was invested in Oklahoma, they could simply keep an eye on production. After the 40 mt rate (May) and the mention of raw iodine sales (AGM), and recycling ongoing (AGM), it means the chem div has enough for it's needs. Production figures don't include recycling as the chem div does the recycling. | superg1
24/6/2014 15:54 | Well they cant be issuing RNSes every day... I would expect an update on all sites within the next week, along with production levels... | cyberbub
24/6/2014 15:54 | Either way a funny time to be selling out. | engelo
24/6/2014 15:53 | From 3rd June RNS: IO#5 Production Plant IO#5 remained idle as the plant awaits connection to the power grid. Hard power is expected in the next 30 days. Once wired into the power grid, production at IO#5 will restart. IO#6 Production Plant IO#6 construction continues to progress with completion expected near month end. The improvements being made to IO#4 are being reflected in the design of IO#6 to ensure maximum brine supply. The commissioning time line is expected to be unchanged and, as previously guided, IO#6 is expected to be operational around the end of Q2. | engelo
24/6/2014 15:48 | cyber: agree but was expecting news on I05,6 first. | engelo
24/6/2014 15:34 | PS just hold on for the early July update, should be issued on Weds next week or thereabouts... | cyberbub
24/6/2014 15:33 | I think this is a short-term shakeout, volume is only modest so hardly any stampede for the exits...NAI | cyberbub
24/6/2014 15:27 | Er, we've gone down a bit. Shouldn't I05 and I06 be switching on any time now? | engelo
