27/3/2014 08:55 | A very sensible step now that the technology is proven and the large plants can be replicated as wished without technical concerns - in whatever number may be chosen. With a successful baseline, given the several avenues now offering opportunities for further progress, holding such a review is just what any new Board members would want to see. I see a successful company that has reached its initial goals now maturing nicely, and preparing to build further on its established capabilities. | ![]() hew

27/3/2014 08:51 | Just for the record, a couple of people seem to be of the opinion that they are saying that they won't build more plants this year, but they don't state that at all. They say they will complete the review by autumn, so they could very well still decide to build more after that. | ![]() woodpeckers
27/3/2014 08:49 | Sensible summary Knackers - price to recover IMO | alphacharlie

27/3/2014 08:45 | A load of gibberish posted this morning. That was a perfectly measured RNS which was factual, straightforward and clear. We can all look forward to news of ongoing production increases throughout the year. Excellent value play, a rare thing in today's market... way, way oversold IMHO. | knackers
27/3/2014 08:43 | I'm sure FY 14 production will be revised down but the business will be on a far firmer track in Q2 so that's where I'm focusing. Production downgrades are now priced in IMO | ![]() square1
27/3/2014 08:43 | Well done IOF - Baby born & first day out of incubator as far as I`m concerned.... | pcjoe
27/3/2014 08:35 | so on the face of it, no cash call, no revision to estimated FY14 production (700-1,000MT), Water Permit strong possibility, strengthening of Board, likely higher iodine prices H2 (market forces)......Ennismo ....plenty of buying around 56p....looks to have bottomed...6-9 months will have looked a steal... | orslega
27/3/2014 08:31 | uncertainty.....mr market doesn't like that, not one bit. | ![]() deanroberthunt
27/3/2014 08:31 | Took a position here this morning. Prudent RNS. Too bigger a fall recently. Looking strong for a decent rise back towards 60/70/80p | koolade
27/3/2014 08:28 | Well, having read through this mornings posts, we seem to be in broad agreement here. This is anything from a good consolidating RNS to another set of missed targets and more delays. | alphacharlie
27/3/2014 08:24 | Only one way for Ennismore to close their short now there is no fundraising. I suspect we will close nearer to 60p again | ![]() captain_kurt
27/3/2014 08:24 | I like the plan to use the pods, these can work flat out with a secure brine stream. IO1 to IO5 ready or running, IO6 not far off. I would rather conserve cash and I am pleased the board has made that decision. It may well be with the new board member, the water options may no longer be non core. I would like to see the new additions to the board a.s.a.p. | ![]() rogerbridge
27/3/2014 08:23 | A very sensible and measured statement this morning imo. The current bod are not just ploughing on trying to get as many towers up as possible but in fact looking at the business far more strategically. The minis and water together with 6 plants from the basis of a strong company looking forward. I fail to see how they can be accused of standing still with so much going on. | cordone
27/3/2014 08:23 | Nothing wrong with that RNS, in my opinion. All very prudent and responsible. I am looking forward to the steadily increasing iodine production this year, combined with the new water side to the business. | ![]() rhwillcol
27/3/2014 08:22 | Well the only bad news i can see short term is not getting the water permit, everything else must be in the price now. So if we get water, 4+5+6 online and mobiles eoy the only way is for the share price to go up, the shorts must be thinking the same imho. | ![]() noli
27/3/2014 08:21 | People can accuse the board of sleight of hand if they wish but "up to 3 plant" means zero, 1, 2 or 3. Consolidating the business before deciding whether to spend what money they have on additional mobile units, prilling tower, water depot or more large scale plant or anything else is better than ploughing on with large scale plant disregarding everything else. I for one do not expect to see any production numbers until at least IO4 and 5 are up and running and even then they will provide quarterly figures. That takes us into June/July? "The Board believes there is overwhelming evidence that the Group's WET® IOSorb technology patented process has proven itself to a high level" Until we get the actual numbers this type of statement is all we can expect. | ![]() ammons

27/3/2014 08:20 | Could I please get some clarification on something from a more knowledgeable poster. (I am currently conducting a review on my portfolio....should be finished by october) I have a vague recollection from one of the presentations that io3 was a plant with very high bpd and low ppm. Putting it at around 100-150 MT? Is this correct? And was a 'test' to see how high the through put could be. In this statement they say that 4 similar plants have been built (interestingly excluding I O2). Does anyone know what the plans were for 4,5,6 ? Regarding bpd and ppm. Or are we assuming IO3 is the prototype and therefore low output? | ![]() richi_rich13
