19/6/2013 07:46 | Well its about what to expect from an AGM Statement, Having worked for large companies in the past and use to AGM you can find both the good and bad in there depending on what you are looking for and want to see, Its a pretty level statement with one or two half clues to chew on. Time will tell | nevmyers
19/6/2013 07:43 | Engelo..."The rollout programme for I03/4 has slowed by a month or two" Compared to what? Last I heard, at PI pres, Io3 would start in June and take 2 months, so complete end of July, Q3,and Io4 would start 1 month later and be complete 1 month later. No delay there compared to latest knowledge, although delayed compared to original timelines I agree. A somewhat subdued statement. I get the feeling they are trying to be realistic. Somewhat disappointed Io2 is not yet up to capacity. Need to discount my run rate figures a bit perhaps. Don't see how we can assume a 5 plant run rate for end of year when the first major plant is taking this long to increase throughput. Something to ask at AGM. | naphar
19/6/2013 07:39 | Looks like North Dakota water permit won't happen, I think they should have done the JV last autumn (in hindsight). Disappointing news on io2, but not in the company's control and only temporary. Other news is positive, plant rollout as expected and some new information on the mobile pods and bigger capacity plants which would further lower costs. | che7win
19/6/2013 07:39 | They have certainly sped up the process on the build noli. Hyper is a strange word for an RNS, well get those mini's on it then! :) | the librarian
19/6/2013 07:37 | What interests me is, if iof think they can use 50k plants, this drilling programme must be of a decent size, i am presuming they will also keep the 30k plants just in case. However, saying that we dont have a plant on 30k yet so poss using 50k plants is a statement in itself. | noli
19/6/2013 07:37 | Macca, WO2013066189 is interesting, but iofina is not the applicant. | gadolinium
19/6/2013 07:37 | Delivery on track. Newsflow in Q3 will provide significant milestones! | hurricane.
19/6/2013 07:35 | Solid statement. IO#4 just 4 weeks after IO#3! Could mean we have both plants go live in Q3 (July/Aug/Sept). | bobsworth
19/6/2013 07:34 | Steady progress on a sound technical basis with rollout progressing. That's fine for me. | hew
19/6/2013 07:32 | 700 vs 1000 f/c Didn't mention the drilling in the results. | randolph and mortimer
19/6/2013 07:32 | dig (2342): my thoughts exactly. The rollout programme for I03/4 has slowed by a month or two, but the statement should steady some nerves and the picture for 2014 which was already massive has improved further. We should see a stream of good news over the next few weeks and months. | engelo
19/6/2013 07:27 | All things considered a robust statement, couldnt ask for much more, other than better weather! | jonnyno1
19/6/2013 07:27 | I am happy with the statement, steady as she goes, more meat later (plus a beer perhaps)! | steveolds
19/6/2013 07:25 | Unfortunately I cannot attend the AGM today and will not have access to the internet either. Have a good meeting. | gadolinium
19/6/2013 07:24 | It's FRP Lib, Hyper Iodine for the MI's, larger plants possible at 50k bpd which means more brine then we might have thought at certain sites. Slighty down on production which isnt that bad considering the tornadoes and the problems OK has had. We could have done with some meat in it though. | noli
19/6/2013 07:21 | A positive and a negative for me. Disappointed that Iodine production is expected to be 63MT for Q2, IO2 still not up to full capacity and weather issues (can't be helped), but am happy that they have confirmed IO3 building has started and will be online in Q3. Bearing in mind Q3 starts in 2 weeks, so could be news on that one soon. | diggulden
19/6/2013 07:21 | Plan for delivery in place with fixed timelines. If they deliver the Share price will more than double within 6 months. Definitely like the sound of "In addition to working up the design for the Group's mobile plants, a review is being undertaken on the potential of utilising larger units, capable of handling up to 50,000 barrels bbls per day of brine at temperatures in excess of 100 degrees Fahrenheit." | captain_kurt
19/6/2013 07:17 | Bare bones stuff, I'm sure the meat will be put on that by the AGM'ers later. Quite surprised that 4 will be operational just 30 days after 3, very reassuring! | the librarian
19/6/2013 07:17 | Bad news as I predicted. Another bloodbath today. 200p!! | shonny
19/6/2013 07:10 | Statement out | warmsun
19/6/2013 06:55 | I'm not so concerned by slippage as they say they expect 3, 4, 5 and 6 to roll out H2. If they all happen close together, it doesn't affect next years forecast. I would like to hear that Io2 is running at full capacity. | che7win
19/6/2013 06:41 | With regards to slippage, this is one thing IOF won't want as its money down the drain. However moving IO#3 to OK instead of Texas was well worth the wait, it's not slippage it's good business sense and a great move by IOF. | noli
19/6/2013 06:28 | Thanks Spike | chumbo
19/6/2013 04:51 | Hang in there Fest, Hopefully posts today will make you smile. I'll use the slippage word again, but my point there is slippage of a month or two as has happened with io3 is factored in and intended slippage for the greater good. In the near future slippage of plants by a few months at $15m to $25m revenue each, PA, on current prices, is not an issue worth fretting about. With trolls around, if such events came, they would try to make much of pointless arguments (ring any bells re them). Just like I say with the water, 'we don't need it', but I'm sure it's coming one way or another. | superg1
19/6/2013 02:40 | I've noticed the volume on the pinks pick-up over the last few days, but yesterday's was astonishingly high. Not high compared to UK, but absolutely enormous for OTC. Amazed not one poster has noticed? | n3tleylucas |
