zooshare and gchklf. I'm here but only just, like zooshare lost big money on miners, just running a few small bets at the moment to keep my hand in. Short on AAL (will I ever learn!) and long on Compass (possible bid rumours) always done well on Compass nothing spectacular but nice and steady, I wish all shares were like this. Zooshare how much money have you got in the kitty and how many pounds per point do you bet, your losses would give me sleepless nights, you must be a rich man! No offence! Anyway as you can see I'm still alive and will no doubt talk to you boys again. Good trading and greetings.

Hi all. Agree zoo, cfds are very dangerous unless you watch and keep a tight stop loss. Easier said than done though as I'm sure we all know : )

bertie...hope you have shorted this one. I am not trading this one as am out of fund, otherwise would have shorted couple of days ago after a big rise....really bad day with miners if shorting...am out and I hope prices will come down heavy for your sakes....good luck....bertie my losses are over £60k (from recent 80k) on the back of CFDs ...worst invention....but been down to 3k and got up to 110k then back to 7k and now to 20k...dont give up hope....but you can not run cfds or sb if you are not watching like mad....all the best

Hi Bertie...many thanks...and sorry to hear you still having bad time with INVP. It can not be too far now till the slide, it has been relentless but has not been making much gain or loss ..staling before freewheeling.....here hope this will make you feel better..

closed my short in MAN seconds yesterday before rocketing on new of takeover...
am short on AAL, ANTO, RIO and been adding to my short daily thinking that must be the top...and did they do today put on 60-70p each...horrible...so am not doing well now. Did well on CAIRN energy going long, closed and went long again thinking it is continuing but before i could follow it it retraced wiping most of the gain. what a game! enough tp deplete your nerves! better luck next week. cheers

zooshare and gchklf. Hello boys, just talked to gchklf on inch thread.
Thank you for your compliment zooshare, much appreciated. Still holding position in invp believe it or not, this share is becoming my personal nemesis, I know it's dangerous to hold a grudge, but I'm going to slug it out with this one come hell or high water, so got that of my chest. General trading like gchklf not much happening at the moment all bets seem to balance each other out at the moment, but at least not losing money. Also gone short on MAN from 16.35 and short on AAL from 17.30, also contemplating shorting ALL other miners because I think big correction just around the corner, also short on Lonmin.
Looks like FTSE want to go down but is'nt sure yet, I wish it would with all these shortpositions, don't they know we need the money!!! Anyway that's all for to-day folks. Good luck and talk to again soon. Greetings

Hello bertie...many thanks for your generous response...closed my short on INVP last night in the auction at some profit...just did not trust it and it is just as well as it headed north again today. shorted MAN yesterday after a strong rise and still went on to put 31points...some loss but I am hanging in there as I also expect that to head south sooner than later. Shorted miners last night and got BLT & AAL right and ANTO and RIO wrong. hang on to ANTO's short I think... couple of share to trade are GSK and AZN...AZN the faster mover and GSK just does my head ..indecisive...so all the best to you and keep us informed of your trading intentions...

zooshare. Evening. Current status: opened long RBS at 15.54. got stopped out this afternoon at 16.35, still not bad I think. Opened long SN about 5 weeks ago at 4.85, just put stop in at 4.90, not much I know but it is trying to break through 5.00 and at least I'm in the money. No did'nt close short on INVP still hanging in there, luckily other positions are keeping this one afloat, so I think I might be lucky and be able to tough this one out, at least it's going down. You've come in at nice level, just stick with this one and see it drop 200 points, if one share can do it, it's this one. All my other positions now shorts because I'm hoping the market might be turning down at the moment just ticking over no great losses and no great gains, but at least still betting.

zooshare. Shorted at 21.80, forgot to put stoploss in, oops, expensive mistake.
Needs to go down substantially to-morrow otherwise fingers seriously burnt.
No idea, only suspects that all financial shares are doing well on the back of
FTSE100 surge. Long on rsb doing very well at the moment, in fact this one and
sn are saving my bacon. Talk to you again and greetings.

Hi bertie, glad you are making your fortune. vod is doing well for me at the moment. inch doing well. prty still my biggest mistake ever! not sure if I should just cut my losses on them. How is the property market going? Better than trading probably. Feel the market is ready to drop...what do you think?

gchklf. Evening, everything alright? Actually managing to make some money in the
last few days. At last! BG moving right direction, maybe we should get in
soon before anyone else does, shareprice already moving up! Short on AZN again
and long on EMG. So far, so good. Bit wary of inch has done me no favours, get
back in when I think it's a dead cert, mind you I thought that last time,

bertie, like your thinking ref. bg group. I am going to keep an eye on them thru' november and early december. Think towards the end of december would be prudent time to buy in...depending on the market.

Keep an eye on inch bertie, looks to me to be a good buy at the moment. Just needs to drop to 20.20 ish and think I will get in.

gchklf. Got out at 21.28. Got stitched up a treat by spreadbetting company.
Offered me 28 point spread, reckoned the marketprice was 21.15 when I got out.
Funny looked like 20.95 to me when I got out, should have been offered 21.18
I reckon. Anyway made decent profit, but it's not cricker, is it? Your thoughts
