No way the RCF gets rolled without rights issue so the rights issue is thus a rescue rights issue - which are always deeply discounted If there's no rescue rights then it's D for E The RCF was being offered at 75p - so by time crunch comes will be owned by non-banks who want to get the equity

The word bot said sell and it promptly rallied 40%+. The touch of an ape :)

....

It rallied because gerbil buyers like yourself gave funds a slightly higher value price to short. Apes usually eat gerbils :)

Did you stay holding 34p? :). Just wondering now if a gerbil says it's still a buy as it falls...becoming an ape? :) haha

Wigwammer you mentioned hindsight to many. I'm sure the 'word bot' foresight shall be acknowledged now :)

Did you exit 34p?

An article from today's Telegraph; sobering for bulls of the company:

"Intu's tumbling share price may make it 'impossible' to raise cash to pay debts"

The Enterprise Value may well be undervalued but that doesn't mean equity won't get toasted on D for E and/or mega discounted rights issue If you want to play you play in the debt

It is time to buy when everyone is selling, on a contrarian view, unless you think the company is going bust. There is inherent value in the company. The debt mountain is a problem, but a rich bidder playing the long game will reap the reward.

I rather think that, in such a doomsday scenario, the creditors will be well ahead of larger shareholders in any bunfight for premium assets given that the debt will be secured with a charge over them.

Lucky I subscribe to FT online, there wouldn't be enough space in the hard copy version to include all the negative articles they have produced aimed at Intu today. 3 full articles at last count. Saved up just for today! Those shorters sure are well connected.

looks like in favour is a 20p rights issue, will need to be soon to get that from the rate the share price could fall, expect this week then. Been working out, massive dilution needed. Scary

A much more attractive proposition for the larger shareholders would be to give them the option of taking the premium assets now and letting the residual INTU descend into administration.

Time is critical -
