I doubt it. Look at what the bond values are doing to get an idea of the losses shareholders will be facing. Whoever buys this will also need to buy the debt all £5bn of it due to change of control. Some of you clowns seem to think they can just buy the equity for £600m and that is it. This is a similar story to Thomas Cook. Management are still busing spending capex on extensions to Trafford, Broadmarsh etc when they cannot even fill the space they already have. They say they have cash and available facilities of £500m, well if they were such a great deal, why don't they buy themselves?

This has been one of Odey’s key shorts. Has not taken his foot off thin gas on this one. He cites large debt and required capital spending (which they cannot afford) to bring the properties but to scratch. Without this capital investment, the properties are approaching undesirability- so INTU is in a real pickle and cannot really be compared with other propcos just on account of the discount to NAV. This NAV is somewhere in la-la land.

At this price it must get a bid after brexit whatever way. Can't see much downside other than rights issue but then with no divi it should not be needed and sale of some assets. 40P BOTTOM?

Rate cut clobbered the USA yesterday

UK needs a rate RISE to stave off inflation

Carney has created us a BIG problem with his too early and too many rate cuts to keep Banks and the City happy and folks still buying property.

Now England is in trouble with the GBP becoming bog paper

Wow I have lost a fair bit, but think has lost a lot more. He will not let it go to zero. He will just buy the whole lot back, say 30% higher with his private equity friends. Although he may let just it drop another 30% first as no rush before 31st October. We all shop at Amazon, but UK Malls still do have a place in our lives.
