11/2/2019 12:07 | results from INTU and HMSO this month. Writedowns expected. INTU trying to sell a centre in Derby (I think) and realised price will be very interesting to note. JW selling down stake in HMSO and losing some 70 millions.... but he probably won't notice has he has thousands of millions anyway. | eipgam
10/2/2019 20:55 | Anything good? | ph1ts
10/2/2019 14:09 | plenty of coverage on JW/Peel in the Sundays | eipgam
04/2/2019 10:03 | Sorry wrong thread. | montyhedge
04/2/2019 10:02 | Wonder why IAG so high, had a great run. | montyhedge
29/1/2019 09:31 | Er, not yet if they're averaging down from higher up :-(( I'd be surprised if anyone thought it would get down anywhere near 100p a few months ago, apart from those who just hope for round number disasters. | yump
29/1/2019 09:24 | Those who bought the low are happy bunnies | knowing
29/1/2019 09:23 | Up 2.6% on very very low volume. | cc2014
28/1/2019 19:55 | Got to 102, 2p short of my target! | escapetohome
28/1/2019 19:36 | Yump there is a whole list of stocks fitting that criteria today - VOD, BATS, INTU it's a crazy market | knowing
28/1/2019 12:41 | With the likely decline in valuations at 31 Dec even a completed sale of 1/2 the equity in Derby gearing is still likely to be heading north. | ericshunn
28/1/2019 12:00 | If anyone wants to buy INTU cheap, or parts of it etc., a sure way to get what you want is to arrange to hit the share price in various ways. Once you've exhausted all the normal market buyers and funds that think there's value or a bounce coming, there's a permanently depressed share price, which gives plenty of time to plot. Allegedly. | yump
28/1/2019 10:24 | That's for that article Knowing. It's really useful. I assume it's the same Kuwait crew that were part of the consortia looking to buy INTU so wheels within wheels. I note the share pricing is rising. Also, someone wanted to buy 2m shares at 112 in the closing auction on Friday and only got partially filled. Hard to say whether the share price is rising because selling half of Derby would reduce gearing which would be desirable or whether there is something deeper going on. It feels to me like someone has decided there is value here at this price but whether there is more to it that than remains to be seen. Still lots of people willing to sell down here though... | cc2014
27/1/2019 21:42 | intu close to selling stake in Derby mall, say reports | knowing
27/1/2019 00:14 | Yump I posted the same analysis already. Is it because of the "real" value here on someone is lining up another bid, which seems to happen regularly, with INTU. | knowing
26/1/2019 13:27 | First the downgrades. Then the mysterious price rises. Then the upgrades. | yump
25/1/2019 16:38 | Closes at 112. moves 10% intraday. Ridiculous | cc2014
25/1/2019 15:25 | 102 to 109 in a day. Someone isn't going to be happy with those downgrades that caused this. | cc2014
25/1/2019 12:27 | In fact they're so far out the ballpark you can't even see the ballpark! | hugepants
25/1/2019 12:23 | 210p was the recent offer. The consortium eventually pulled out but still we're now at 50% of that price. HMSO turned down 625p in March saying it significantly undervalued the company (now trading at not far off 50% of that price) The brokers price targets are just completely ignoring 3rd party valuations. Not remotely in the same ball park. | hugepants
25/1/2019 11:28 | How much was the recent offer? Someone probably wants a chunk | knowing
25/1/2019 11:03 | I suppose they either blame Brexit or Monty | knowing
25/1/2019 10:56 | Citigroup has reduced both Hammerson and intu Properties to Sell from Neutral. Hammerson was 1.7% lower, and intu down 4.6%. On Thursday, Goldman Sachs had cut intu to Sell from Neutral. | hugepants
25/1/2019 08:56 | Bit overdone | knowing
25/1/2019 08:51 | Looking a bit ropey here this morning. Topped up. | hugepants |
