As to IRV, it's been game over for a while.

A massive Debt for Equity was always on the cards...Market cap so small compared to the £650m odd debt. Been there myself.

So imo it seems commissioning and signing off EfW Derby (and other EfW projects) remains the (or one of THE) main issues to any future agreement. This must be why details are not to be announced until Q1 2019. That’s along time to keep suppliers and sub contractors on side, and if clients suffer then why would they stick with IRV. A complete and utter mess and information released by BoD misleading. How much has EfW and fees in arranging finance cost......and in addition to get to the amount now required, how much were the right downs in other normal areas of trading? Given the amount of auditing thats taken place and accounts signed off what’s the explanation?

After the leaks in the press over the weekend, they were bound to act as any responsible board should. It stops speculators, doom mongers and all sorts coming out with their version of events and insisting that they are all correct.

Thing is, the company is performing to expectations and inline with previous guidance, is winning new work and the deleveraging plan is all as announced in April 2018. They are not out of the woods yet but of course those with an agenda to see the company go bust will not want to hear any of that as it goes against their story line.

I will not be surprised if this stages a spectacular recovery in the short term.
