03/11/2018 12:19 | Presumably the news is nothing has happened and that runs contrary to the debt reduction "plan" which means that forecast interest charges are going to have to be revised upwards, which in turn increases debt. But that would be bad news and not material to the market - so better to not report and hope things get better ? Meanwhile how about another bonus ? Maybe an anniversary of still being in the job bonus , that should be soon ? | fenners66
03/11/2018 10:57 | IRV should provide an update on progress with EfW and we should have news on disposals. Why I ask continue with construction with high risk, low (I mean no) margins and the EfW debacle yet to be put to bed. Generating cash from the sale of the international businesses (well share of these businesses) must be under consideration. Let’s have some news as how the high level of debt is being progressed. | pundit1
02/11/2018 20:43 | Hi guys. Did I post an irrelevant link? I read that protesters were complaining that EA rated Sinfin EfW plant smell as 1 or 2 tops (very faint or faint smell) so went to the EA site looking for evidence and used Derby EfW and that is the document that came up... is it a different plant? | aendjo
02/11/2018 20:33 | "Have they all been on holiday?". Mr Bean's holiday? The silence is reminiscent of Mr Bean at the moment! Let's hope for something next week! | da vinci1
02/11/2018 19:35 | Megalaughton lane does'nt exist according to 'Google maps'. There is a MegaLOUGHton lane however. It's to the south of Brian(old big 'ead)Clough way. Kind of ironic that eh fenners! Lol!! | windrushg
02/11/2018 14:56 | well I am more interested in WHEN Interserve announce something! Have they all been on holiday ????? Surely we are due positive news any day now! | cfc1
02/11/2018 14:30 | Read the article he referred to , that should not be too hard .... | fenners66
02/11/2018 14:04 | Megalaughton lane? You could'nt make it up! 2nd thoughts maybe you could fenners! Are you 'aving a mega laugh? | windrushg
02/11/2018 11:39 | Fake news from aendjo "the site is .... off Megalaughton Lane...." Totally different Severn Trent anaerobic plant.... | fenners66
02/11/2018 11:18 | I don't think so. The thing posted by aendjo looks to me like a brand new permit grant for a new waste disposal facility in Derby that is absolutely nothing to do with IRV. I fail to see how that could be good news for shareholders (unless he was talking about Severn Trent's shareholders !) I'm in IRV at an average £1.55. No-one needs good news more than me..... | dexdringle
02/11/2018 11:12 | My understanding was Aendjo stated the Sinfin Lane EFW site was compliant with the regulations according to the Environment Agency in regard to noise and smells (which was what the kerfuffle is about). EA can hardly have tested another plant which has not even been built yet! Sounds to me that rather than being helpful, someone is fomenting confusion on the matter (for whatever reason)! | windrushg
02/11/2018 10:49 | Are we saying that the link posted by aendjo re Derby is nothing to do with the IRV EFW contract and is just a co-incidental permit for something completely different that just also happens to be in Derby ? If so perhaps aendjo could explain why he feels it was "good news for (IRV) shareholders" ? | dexdringle
01/11/2018 16:28 | nope....some good buys (according to me) which pushed us into the dizzy heights of the 50's and then a few tiny sales and it drops 2p!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IM sure those with lvl2 will correct me! | cfc1
01/11/2018 16:00 | Has the worm turned?? | eodfire
01/11/2018 13:07 | No it doesn’t. But the protesters were complaining about noise, smell and pollutants - all checked and compliant according to Environmental Agency. The plant is burning and generating. I’m not sure when commissioning is going to be completed but this is another big step in the right direction. | aendjo
01/11/2018 11:53 | aendjo - does this mean Derby is sorted? If yes then I would have expected an annoucement from IRV? And if sorted then why hasnt the share price risen! | cfc1
01/11/2018 11:21 | I have some very good news for holders. | aendjo
01/11/2018 10:12 | Recent posts about construction are more than justifiable. Poor builders and now someone who’s been out of the UK for many years living the good life is in charge. Completely out of touch with the UK business. I was doing some research and in Dubai Interserve through Khansaheb are a small player. Business with value to unlock though is the Dubai joinery and fit our business. They at least have a speciality that should raise cash. IRV obviously think they can do everything? Much better to spealise and understand your business? Another week passing with no news. Expect an RNS with more shares and bonuses. Business must need someone more experienced in setting up deals? | pundit1
31/10/2018 21:54 | Sorry to hear you're down 75% Dexdringle. Most of us are in the same boat so can't be happy about it. Some of the comments though suggest certain holders are completely demoralised and I feel their comments are damaging sentiment further, which is the last thing we need. This is not the time to go wobbly IMO! I'm confident things will improve soon. GLA Holders! | windrushg
31/10/2018 19:50 | Well Windy, the fact is that shareholders are unhappy (you can trust me on that - i'm one and i'm down 75%), employees are unhappy (sky blue isn't the only one - I have a new colleague who recently left IRV) and clients are clearly unhappy (EFW, various other underperforming contracts). I think you may be the one with the screw insufficiency tight.... | dexdringle
31/10/2018 18:29 | Hit the nail on the head? I would suggest he's got za screw loose! Lol | windrushg
31/10/2018 18:12 | Dexdringle You have hit the nail on the head. | skyblue5
31/10/2018 17:27 | Yes it's been a long while since IRV announced something positive cfc1. I would'nt be surprised if,like London buses, two or three positive RNS's turned up in close succession. The sooner the better, to arrest this unjustified downward drift in the SP!! | da vinci1
31/10/2018 15:36 | whats happened to all the EFW chat and I really wonder when IRV will announce something positive on that front or ANY front! | cfc1 |
