Another interesting extract from that FT article

"
The increased use of AI in investment has raised questions over the traditional roles of human relationships and judgment in the sector. Industry analyst group Gartner has estimated that AI and data analytics will inform more than three-quarters of venture capital and early-stage investments by 2025."

Many private investors trail the overall market RNS feed looking for positive news on which attracts their attention and can be a catalyst fir further research and then even taking a position. A number of Sharesoc investors pool their knowledge and views and seek out specialist knowledge of any market or company. The investors I have communicated with from this group and other simple class INSG as too high a risk based on its news flow and trading to date. That can change of course but not until INSG RNS something at least positive if not eye brow raising All imo.

From The FT Today

Investors turn to AI-guided dealmaking to gain edge over rivals

Extract

" Venture capital funds, private equity groups and accountancy firms are using the latest artificial intelligence to pick acquisition targets and start-ups for investment, betting the technology can give them an edge over rivals."

"Big Four accountant KPMG, hedge fund Coatue and venture capital firm Headline are among those using the latest AI tools to advise clients and help guide their dealmaking.

With investors under pressure to identify the next high-growth start-up at a time when few companies are going public, some argue that dealmakers can benefit from using generative AI for tasks such as assessing a company’s growth potential based on financial analysis."

There you are
Exactly what I’ve been saying
Nobody bar a handful of investors have heard of Insig
I’ve been saying for ages that our marketing/pr and deal making has been dire
Therefore no visibility to the general market
imho

Perhaps it's because a) relatively few are aware of it, and b) those that are and invested are, following a bumpy ride to date, awaiting some long overdue delivery!Either way, once they start to evidence commercial execution with the potential for scale and attract some wider coverage m, the current price is likely to look quite inexpensive.

Certainly worth reading, published in FT yesterday. You couldn't really get much better positioning - if Insig can execute then they have, in my opinion, the opportunity to be right at the heart of this.https://worldnewsera.com/news/finance/stock-market/the-coming-crackdown-on-the-esg-ratings-industry/?amp

Foxconn: party animal is latest tech group to become an AI lister

Extract

"Some uncool people have a knack of turning up at all the coolest parties. In the world of tech, that applies to Foxconn. On Wednesday it became the latest business to feature as an AI lister, via its relationship with US artificial intelligence chip group Nvidia.

Foxconn is a theoretically prosaic contract manufacturer listed in Taiwan as Hon Hai Precision. It made a windfall working for Intel in the PC boom of the early 2000s. Then it became Apple’s key manufacturing partner. Now, with smartphone sales slowing, it is moving on to the next big thing.

Foxconn expects sales to at least double in the second half on surging demand for servers with AI capabilities. Sales from the division reached NT$1.1tn ($36bn) last year.

The Taiwanese group struck a partnership with the US AI chip developer seven years ago to create AI-ready servers. Back then, AI was a niche obsession rather than an investment frenzy."

We all know we need a bit more pr
============================================================================

shrewdie, IMO the best PR is a positive RNS which results in upgrades to Broker forecasts .

It doesn't need (another)a 3rd party paid for out of shareholder funds.

Another one of my holdings dropped out via a non-regulatory avenue that Directors had ''voluntarily'' (yeah right oh) taken a 20% remuneration cut. Surely that information alone is price sensitive and should be in an official RNS? (as it would significantly alter the value of the Company if Investors knew at the time)
Lets see if this lot did the same (or deferred) with a near zero cash balance and near zero loan drawdown headroom.

So we can tick 2 of those boxes and are the fca company of choice for monitoring esg via AI.

I’m thick so if I can pick up on the relevance I’m sure there are greater powers that have noticed.

Speaking of the FCA..press comment just last week about their immediate focus/priorities...ESG, AI and Crypto. Which could not be much more timely for Insig..https://www.moneymarketing.co.uk/news/fca-has-focus-on-esg-ai-and-crypto-assets/
