14/1/2017 15:47 | Boffster - agreeing with a de-ramper like yourself is another way to de-ramp this stock. IDP has got multiple positives. Why not post them with your negative posts? | shabi1
14/1/2017 15:38 | Someone who sold out and then posted bullish comments would be slightly bonkers, would he not? I didn't realise this bulletin board was just for holders of the stock. | boffster
14/1/2017 15:28 | Longshanks, Critical comments that have credibility are most welcome. Anyone that has sold out then deramps is the lowest of the low!! | gimmetheloot
14/1/2017 15:26 | I don't think thats the case, shabi. I see his posts on several other boards and although he does trade a bit, he also holds a fair bit. Pretty much like the rest of us, no ? I respect his posts and its a genuine question. | luminoso
14/1/2017 15:03 | Why ask longshank clearly his a 10% profit taker, he has no interest in £4 £5 or £10 as he clearly states his day trading the swings. Once his out will de RAMP it and support the de-rampers to gain new position, rinse and repeat is his strategy. | shabi1
14/1/2017 13:44 | Boffsters a bit jekyll and hyde. He makes valid points in one post and the next is just plain deramping. I am fully aware of the risks here but am gambling on a pretty good trading update. Do you still see it going to £4 in quick time, longshanks, as you posted a couple of times ? | luminoso
14/1/2017 12:37 | I have been trading this myself to take advantage of the volatility and making good money. No shame in that IMO and I am sure I am not alone. It is foolish to think that comments made on this bb have any effect. Personally I think Boffster has got a better measure of the company than many on here. Are critical comments really deramping: only approving comments that support ones own book is not healthy. | longshanks
14/1/2017 12:02 | gimmetheloot - Good point re: Boffster having sold out and now deramping to buy back cheaper. This is cheating. | andyr42

14/1/2017 10:14 | I remember the same doom-mongers and doom-merchants over at ASOS from 2007-11; "it's reached saturation point"...."it's over-priced"...."loo | 2prsimo
14/1/2017 10:02 | Boffster has no fair opinion!! Check his post when the non exec resigned he made it out it was doomsday for IDP. Got to chuckle at some of his posts!! Guess somebody is out and wants back in cheaper and is lingering around like a bad smell !! Boffster - 10 Jan 2017 - 08:46:38 - 1284 of 1595 My concern is that, while one non-exec resigning may be nothing at all, what if we get another RNS saying another has resigned. Its for this reason I've decided to take a profit, for the time being anyway. A "what if scenario" and you dropped your marbles, and now your deramping a share you owned several days ago to get back in cheaper. Guess what,it's £2.54 a ticket to buy back in and believe me it's still cheap!! | gimmetheloot
14/1/2017 09:44 | Boffster- some valid points fella!! | potential
14/1/2017 09:34 | Good post Andy | allstar4eva
14/1/2017 09:32 | Boffster has an opinion, fair enough. But the mistake he is making is just focusing on the SP, he is failing to understand the market cap is so low for a global brand company in the making with a portfolio of products. There are only c.11m shares and less than half are in the public domain. Could be huge, multi from here imho, whatever the trading update. | andyr42
14/1/2017 08:27 | Bofster. If you want a co. to get your teeth into visit Koovs. I know it has huge potential in India but it is losing a fortune, a negative GP of 20% (sales are flying out!!)Cash burn is phenomenal & having to raise cash on a regular basis. Will not be in profit until at least 2020. But has a market cap of £87m. Makes IDP look a cast iron certainty! IMHO | pjh53
14/1/2017 08:09 | Great post LC. Absolutely agree potential is huge IMHO. I wonder how much a day GNC store sells of ST? Lets take a stab, say £20/day??? (IDP selling price) over 600 stores, that's c.£4m per year. If, big if, rolled out to 6600 stores on same £20/day, annualised sales estimate would be c.£46m!!!!! Is that possible? Pure guesswork. It would be very interesting to know if anyone has any idea of what sales rate might be? Pie in the sky or is it? PJH | pjh53
14/1/2017 08:06 | Boffster shut it and don't post | shabi1
14/1/2017 07:19 | This was interesting post gimmetheloot - 10 Jan 2017 - 07:40:38 - 1265 of 1588 Innovaderma - Global Brands and Huge Markets - IDP Pjh53 Successful companies like these are often sold for sold to big companies for hundreds of millions. Any big company who sees the potential early will buy then out. Well done and hopefully this will be a lot more In a couple of years!! Did some more research last night on W7L in comparison to IDP. Both companies relatively new to the stock market yet one Gs W7L has a market cap of £95m and IDP £31mill What's clear here is that IDP had a lot of catching up to do in comparison with W7L and I still believe W7L is a good company but in a very saturated market place & IDP is in a nice market with maybe only the likes of well known brand like St tropez who can give it any comparison. Imho we are much better than St Tropes, the products are more natural than st Tropez and the customers who use Skinny Tan love it. They cannot get enough and the reviews I have read have been nothing short of phenomenal. Sales have been exceeding expectations and some retailers running out of stock. Add to that the hair loss treatment being launched and waiting for FDA approval & is so far 92% successful in treating hair loss in May/June in a multi billion dollar market catchment and also the cellulite products being developed and marketed and other products being developed all bodes well for a successful takeover in the very near future of hundreds of millions by a major or super major. The only thing these guys have to prove is that their products are selling like hot cakes which they are and they are selling globally which they are and developing other products which they are. Look at the market cap which is peanuts for a company that has a ready made product on the major high st retail points in the US and UK & other countries, as well as top retail points like Amazon and Walmart on the web and the news flow that will come will only get bigger and better all IMHO. Just imagine the next news that GNC in the US have decided to roll out Skinny Tan across all 6600 stores after trialling 600 starting Oct 2016. It's already in their top 10 best sellers on the GNC website ;-)) Please all Do your own research. Exciting times ahead!! :-))) | llandudnochartist
14/1/2017 05:19 | The problem for me with this stock is that at £30mln market cap there is already a fair bit of good news in the price. That flies in the face somewhat of the value seeking nature that has served me so well in the past. There's a belief on this board that the shareprice is guaranteed to go up on the trading statement and I believe a lot here are intending to sell on that day. However in order for the price to go up, there will need to be willing buyers! Few here will have the stones to hold on for 5 years since by then the party might well have stopped and Skinny Tan might find itself relegated to the clearance bins. On the other hand it might have been bought out at a considerably higher valuation than we are at currently. It is a tough call in my opinion! I think the value play, or the easy money if you will, has already been had on this stock. It might continue to do well and we might see a fiver a share. I feel talk of a double digit shareprice is pie in the sky, at least for the forseeable. The company did only make a profit of ~£300k last year. Obviously this year should see considerably improved figures, one would hope, but even so. Another concern, and I feel very justified, is that management may include another clumsy 'we need more money' sentence in the trading statement. Those who were around at the last statement will know what then happened to the shareprice, which caused the subsequent placing to occur at a much lower price than could have been achieved had the management been a bit more savvy. An interesting company this is, certainly. A one way bet, not so much. | boffster
