St Tropez self-tanning brand was sold to Cussons in 2010 for £62m on revenues of just £20m.

IDP could be on 4x that amount of revenues in 2018.

Remember that IDP are guaranteed minimum revenues from PROS of:

US $3.8m for 2016 = £3.07m
US $10m for 2017 = £8.1m
US $20m for 2018 = £16.2m

and that is just for distribution into SE Asia.

This means revenues are guaranteed to build.

Add in the same again or more for UK, then Europe, and again for USA, Australia, New Zeland, South Africa, etc. and this will be huge.

My main concern is for how long the seemingly meteoric rise of Skinny Tan can be maintained for. The product will be 99% purchased by women, and they are fickle creatures. Another tanning lotion could come into vogue at any time, particularly once some deluded fatsos have realised its going to take more effort than slopping some cream on their gargantuan backsides to turn them into a supermodel. One thing I am pretty sure of is that leimo isn't worth a fig. Light treatment for apolpecia is nothing new at all, this stock is, I would say, A one trick pony

Boffster, difference between "good" and "great" TU is subjective. Something leads me to believe that if you don't get on board before TU is released you'll be on here saying "oh yeah this update is alright, but could be better, take your profits before its too late people", regardless of how good the TU will be.

Anyway, what leads you to believe that it won't be great?

TheLung, I don't see why my trading activities past or present should have any effect on the validity of my comments. But, to answer your question, I think I would like the visibility of a trading update, even if that means the shareprice is higher. We've had a hell of a run up from the 70p low, and this update, while I am certain will be good, might not be quite as great as some folk are anticipating.

Isn't being self-important and narcissistic pretty much the same thing? :P

Boffster, I bought back in on the dip today as i expect the usual afternoon rise, tomorrow being Fri and those not wanting to be out over the weekend, and Monday being midway through the month of the scheduled TU. So, I ask again, what is your entry point? If you don't want to say then that's understandable, but you'll understand why we want you to keep your comments to yourself until you do.

I log off for a couple of hours, 13 new posts, and only one with any vaguely interesting information. I suggest you guys concentrate on your investments and use these boards for constructive debate, rather than just deriding anyone who puts across a contrary opinion. It does nothing other than to make me feel less like (re)buying as I believe there's a rather young and amateurish demographic of investors here
