gregpeck - perhaps that is what is happening, but I agree with you that if Amazon themselves are the seller then IDP must have an agreement with them somewhere.
Given Amazon's extensive reach I would have thought that would be price senstive information that would require an RNS - but wtfdik

So we seem to have stood up to the shorters extremely well One week on and the buying price is not too far below the highs that we achieved this time around( in fact its a lot higher than the 123p that was threatened and definitely way higher that that absorb figure of 85P which we kept hearing about!

Surely the shorters are beginning to realise that IDP is no longer such easy pickings (things have changed!)

Having said that I have no doubt that they have not given up.

They are just waiting for a bit of good news and the share price will get taken up to beyond what it would if left to its devices but then taken back down again .

However, as long as we finish higher each time than we were before the announcement we will make progress Make no mistake ,we will get there in the end. Nothing can stop the momentum that IDP is harnessing!

Like N Y Boy I do not expect too much action between now and the 19th Sept so you will not be hearing too much from me

I agree, I suspect they monitor what boots sell and match certain lines.. I wonder if that is going on here? A lot of people now 'just' use amazon and only buy from amazon on the site so I agree , very positive.

So you can buy Roots Double Effects Intensive Treatment Spray for £14.99 at SuperDrug and its also advertised as being sold by Amazon for the same price, but its currently out of stock.
Resellers are pricing it at ~£29 on Amazon.

I don't do much shopping on Amazon (I'm a once a week trip to Tescos bloke), but surely that is a positive step?

Also who is going to buy from a reseller? Its twice the price! Am I missing something here?

I tend to agree and I know skinny tan is on amazon and it's on prime, but it's sold via third party sellers. This is the first time I have seen an actual amazon.co.uk listing for any of their products.. a lot of people will only buy off amazon and not the third party element...

It's not price sensitive, Amazon don't sell that much volume generally. They also sell Skinny Tan and as far as I'm aware a rns was never issued for that.A look fantastic/feelunique deal would validate our relationship with them and would be good.

Not sure what all the excitement is about. You can get Roots on ebay too. No exclusivity with online sellers...they can buy from DTC when an offer is running and resell later online at a profit.

Are they about to list them all? They could all be about to come online with amazon for all we know.... All we know is that - they appear to be selling it!

Amazon are not the type of company to make a mistake, if they have listed it as available, then they are selling it...

Why would Amazon only sell the least popular product within Roots. I'm sure there's a very simple explanation as to why it is showing Amazon prime as selling one of the SKUs of roots.

It would of 100% been put in the RNS last week if it were the case, as it's price sensitive information.

New holding likely be disclosed soon, Amazon look to be stocking IDP products, it must be getting sad for you......

The company do not "have" to RNS anything.... It could be Amazon have jumped the gun.. If you don't think they intend to sell it and its a "fake link" or whatever other stupid reason you want to suggest, why don't you get on the phone to them and tell them the mistake they have made...



Thats good enough for me though, buy now from amazon.co.uk....

I suspect we will see some buying in the morning....

I think HC would be loathe to raise funds with the share price where it is. That being said I don't think we can completely rule out needing additional funds. I wonder if we might borrow depending on how much is required. We are debt free after all.... I am reserving judgement until the finals basically!

If people on amazon can double the price of roots then we have an amazing success on our hands. Demand outstrips supply is excellent
