SCSW seem to have a downer on IDP since it overtook their own portfolio choice in that sector [Warpaint]. Last bit was just ill mannered and makes you wonder about their position regarding data protection.

A bit lax not to mention Roots as it could be another big hitter.

The fartcomie- you should not be posting from tip sheets which subscribers have paid to use. You have done this on several threads
That final comment looks as though it's been written in jest suggesting he's an avid reader about his own co.
The latest update doesn't obviously include the latest operational update from IDP this week

Innovaderma

304p Epic code: IDP
(Sharewatch) Innovaderma’s results to end June showed sales up 105% to £8.6m and pretax profit up five-fold to £1m for eps of 4.7p. It’s been a busy year with the company relocating production of Skinny Tan to the UK (helping gross margins lift 5.6% to 63%) and widening the product range. It also made three small acquisitions, opening up nascent opportunities in new categories.
The swing factor was Skinny Tan, whose brand appeal has seen it attract more than 300,000 followers on its social media platforms, helping to drive retailer representation - Innovaderma’s Direct-to-Consumer strategy. The brand became the No.1 selling brand in Superdrug by revenue in its category with 10 new products added. Post the period end it was also launched in 64 Boots stores in the Republic of Ireland.
The next key stage in the company’s development is the launch of the newly acquired stuff on the DTC platform. Mens skincare brand, Charles & Lee, launched in April and has since secured representation in a small Australian chain. Makeup brand Stevie K is expected to launch with a high street retail chain and on the DTC platform in Q1 2018. The company is finalising its strategy for Prolong, the device for premature ejaculation, and Headmaster, the wearable helmet to aid hair generation, which will both launch prior to the end of 2017 in the US, followed by the UK next year. Innovaderma adds that it is now also set to enter the market for acne and skin tightening/wrinkle reducing devices. You have to wonder when CEO Haris Chaudhry gets his own beauty sleep - looking at his 2am logons on the SCSW website to check for updates, one suspects he doesn’t.
Finncap forecasts eps of 12.7p this year and 21p next. Some profit should have been taken at c.400p as suggested; hold the rest.

I've looked in a few Superdrugs and have yet to see Roots. Alpecin and Plantur are in all of them, hadn't realised they were made by the same people. Real scope to do well in this market but would like to see the product in more stores so I can try it out. Not that I'm THAT bald, obvs

Worth noting that Roots sells at a higher price than Alpecin as well.
I've tried alpecin and didn't think much too it, either as a shampoo or as a product for hair loss. I'm giving Roots a go in the next few weeks.

If plantur and alpercin have had this market to themselves then they better watch out.
The good news is the concept has already been excepted by the market place. All roots need to do is be the altnative in each of these markets and we'll simply take a share of the market. Without the cost that alpervin have had to pay to establish themselves.

Its a bit like this example.
McDonalds has a whole dept spending millions researching and planning where to grow the franchise.
Where as Burger King has one person whom asks 'is there a McDonadls there?'

Roots can easily (well if idp are clever) piggy back off the back of alpercin and plantur.
I think roots should go straight for the jugular. Have customers compairing alpercin, plantur and roots (without the 'nasty' caffiene).
The more we can draw attention to the fact Roots is an alternative option the A&P the quicker and cheaper Roots will establish in my opinion.

Heres an add idea
Have all three on a poster or whateve and simply put under the roots bottle. Roots - similar but no nasty caffeine.

Haha im only playing.
Cheers

Roots could be bigger than skinny tan in my opinion.
Turn income into more stock and advertising. Repeat and compound.
