09/3/2017 19:43 | Agreed sales going well big winner this will be | nw99
09/3/2017 14:48 | Not interested in current Sp as it's too volatile. I'm investing at a level I'm happy with and if I'm right about current sales then the second half - the fake tan season in UK - will get about £4.5 m sales compared to forecasts of £3.5m without any contribution from new acquisitions.Since Jan when record sales were recorded in the quietest month, more shelf space at SD, a revamped SD website offering, roll out to Harmon stores in US, very good special offer sales on UK website, first sales of professional range in US, acquisition of two brands for peanuts.£3 by end of year at latest ;) | croasdalelfc
09/3/2017 14:14 | Every time I go into Superdrug to look at ST range it is always fully stocked up, doesn't look like many are buying at the moment, it's expensive stock product for superdrug, if you look around at the average shopper in there, these are buying low cost items under a tenner but more like under a fiver. Shame not in Boots or dept. stores. I remain to be convinced as of now. | ny boy
09/3/2017 11:43 | Sounds great, but share price goin nowhere! | bookbroker
09/3/2017 11:35 | I had a look in local Superdrug. ST now on 3 shelves instead of 2 with a full range including rollers and mitts. Also the 3 for 2 offer is in store.ST occupied more shelf space than any other brand , possibly half of all shelf space. | croasdalelfc
09/3/2017 08:23 | Correction - they restocked two of the specials - 1000 each or £60k of stock - should sell out by Sunday | croasdalelfc
09/3/2017 07:55 | Excellent - they have restocked the special that sold 2600 in 10 days. Another 1000 for sale | croasdalelfc
08/3/2017 23:43 | Headline grabbing push for 'Skinny Tan' promotion on The Superdrug site tonight. | grayako
08/3/2017 20:21 | Update: I was away at the weekend so didn't track so much from ST.co.uk but:ST.co.uk restocked most of the stock except the special offers that I can track. Stock went up from £400k to £900k.3 special offers have nearly sold out.One of 2600 since last Monday One of 1000 since ThursdayOne of 400 (not sure when it started)That's 4000 @ £30 or £120k over about 10 days.As you can see they are selling £12k plus a day from their U.K. Website. Probably 15k to £20k as I can't track everything. This is sustained over 10 days.On the US website I think sales are slowly rising from a low base compared to UK. Possibly £1250 a day to £1500.Superdrug is steady at £1k-£2k a day. | croasdalelfc
08/3/2017 17:34 | if these guys can keep sniffing out acquisitions at stupid prices, they are gonna be building a nice beauty range for buttons...synergies. | king kong dong
08/3/2017 14:49 | Seems the article just allowed peeps to close out, now the inevitable drift down. | mustau
07/3/2017 13:42 | No point shouting if nothing newsworthy to announce! Companies that RNS trivial stuff end up looking silly and desperate. I'd prefer them to under promise and over deliver in a nice business like manor. PURP has traded sideways since listing and only come to life in the last couple of months. People need a bit of patience!Dibbs | dibbs
07/3/2017 13:13 | Just checking to see if Trump has ordered his next batch of ST, he was looking a bit pale the other day, needs to Tango up! 😁 | ny boy
06/3/2017 22:53 | Only 2.58 million free float hence the large swings with sudden buying or selling.any positive news will push this up very fast | doc robinson
06/3/2017 21:47 | When people start talking about the products so enthusiastically the retailers get interested. The proprietary technology is running hundreds of campaigns simultaneously. Sometimes it will direct people to buy from its own website to reduce reliance on retail chains and other times it redirects the "looker" to the Superdrug website to place their order. Very clever and that's why this is so different to other stocks ... Buy any dips . | nw99
06/3/2017 20:39 | NY, Superdrug makes a big deal about having exclusivity of Skinny Tan, so that may bar any other high street retailer selling them. | che7win
06/3/2017 19:56 | Che7win. Not yet, no idea haven't checked my account, May of had an order filled, did very well out of IRG, bought more WEY I will buy these once the sp, rises and stays above 165p, as that was proven today, these are not quiet ready to break this level. ST should be in higher end outlets such as Selfridges,Harrods, Harvey Nicks etc, especially with their rrp, Superdrug is full of cheapo stock, they could do better than being in Superdrug. | ny boy
06/3/2017 17:24 | Monty, I'm well aware of the USP SkinnyTan markets, only, it's not patentable and can be copied. Yes, make hay when the sun shines, but can't this be copied? It is not something that will ultimately differentiate ST in the long run. I like their branding, Fake Bake and NKD Skin are also equally catchy. | che7win
06/3/2017 17:09 | che 7 winAnother thing, the ST product is not just a self tanning product like St Tropez. It's first self-tanner to combine a natural tanning active ingredient with other naturally derived skin smoothing actives that reduce the visible appearance of cellulite. I think you need to understand the Co you supposedly invest in before passing judgement | montynj
06/3/2017 16:15 | NY Boy, Did you get any TRIN? | che7win
06/3/2017 15:59 | The product doesn't look very overpriced if sales are phenomenal | montynj
06/3/2017 15:44 | As the article says, "A buy, albeit with a highly speculative tag". It's up with events, I don't rate Leimo but at least costs are outsourced so not much downside if it fails to gain traction. The ST products are overpriced IMHO, they are on a level with St Tropez, would they be better lowering the price slightly and doing less promotions but increasing sales? I suppose they need to have good supply to do that. | che7win
06/3/2017 14:45 | I think key points are:Estimated sales this year to June £6.9m vs £4m last yr and only £0.5m in 2015. Note also high gpm of 65%. They started selling is USA in Nov where the mkt is 3-4x larger. They've now priced the product as a premium product at £20 per bottle vs £5 for the discount type. Also the use of skinny Tan is broadening from reducing cellulite to self tanning now. Growth in demand is huge which led to capacity constraints last yr but now they have solved that by moving production to UK leading to even high margins. The Australian supplier will supply to the USA at a lower cost also.Growth on Social media is just phenomenal. So much so that the Co is making £4 for every £1 it spends on marketing. Wow.In fact, Jan, which is traditionally a weak month for tanning products, IDP achieved all time new monthly record sales figs apparently. The next killer product is Leimo hair care to be launched mid year which has a 92% success rate. When it was originally sold in Australia it had peak sales of A$1m but then there was a falling out with original founders. So IDP bought the IP. Already secured a US partner who has borne all development cost including getting FDA approval...the supplier supplies on a turnkey basis and IDP sells.IDP plans to use its technology platform and infrastructure for other products too.All in all seems a great buy to me but DYOR | montynj |
