So its all private initiative, the national government hasnt dipped a toe in.( apart from eu) I struggle with that given the strategic importance to uk.

What will be the piece of news that finally confirms to the market that Islandmagee will be constructed?

Will it be an offtake(s) agreement?
A storage agreement for example?
Debt finance agreement?

I am looking for that one piece of news that will trigger a substantial re-rating of INFA and its share-price

"A case in point is the recent divergence of UK gas hub prices from mainland Europe, due in the main to the sudden closure of the offshore gas storage facility at Rough, unscheduled production outages in Norwegian gas fields, and the persistent threat of unscheduled closures of French nuclear power stations. Recently, the cold snaps in North Western Europe have decidedly affected both the supply and demand for gas. Traders have been left desperate for supplies, as underground stockpiles held in Britain, Belgium and France were at their lowest since 2015, and LNG cargoes were hard to find due to increased demand from the Asian market."

Yes trophy man if anything happened at Moffat the island of Ireland does not have enough gas.
I need to check, but I believe islandmagee will be able to supply ireland for 60 days

Worth highlighting the reverse flow of the Scotland-to-northern-ireland-pipeline (snip) is also a project of common interest ( pci )

This will make islandmagee much more attractive to gas traders.
