Yes, 11_percent, the parallels are there...minus the St1 equity funding and St2 worries.

But there are differences too, like the stable, low return multi-year leasing income.

Here is the criteria laid out for our £40M EU grant bid,

2018-2 CEF Energy Call for Proposals
6.5. Award criteria for grants
The proposals will be evaluated against the following award criteria taking into account the list of general orientation as stipulated in Article 17(5) and in Part V of the Annex of Regulation (EU) No 1316/2013:
(1) Maturity of the action with regard to the developmental stage of the project, based on the implementation plan (Article 5(1) of Regulation (EU) No 347/2013)
(2) Cross-border dimension of the action, area of impact and number of Member States involved in the action
(3) Extent of the positive externality provided by the action involving works, impact of the action on solidarity
(4) Need to overcome financial obstacles
(5) Soundness of the implementation plan proposed for the action
(6) Stimulating effect of the CEF financial assistance on the completion of the action
(7) Priority and urgency of the action, will the project remove bottlenecks, end energy isolation and contribute to the implementation of the internal energy market.

Looks like a very good fit to me!

HTTPS://www.thetimes.co.uk/edition/business/national-grid-welcomes-a-viking-raider-t2v5nbdfcWhen it's not windy the Danes rely massively on coal to make up the shortfall. This cable will allow the UK to supply them via our gas generation capacity. HTTPS://twitter.com/baldwingas/status/1060934260582965248?s=19

With Thursday's LOI rns with a "blue chip" gas trader, could this statement, by David Marshall in his excellent June blog report on Infa, provide cash to help finance Infa to retain a larger, indeed majority, control of the IM project to final build:

"The author believes one early route to revenue would be from advance letting of caverns to tenants. This is echoed by management who said that it may be likely to see pre-letting agreements and possibly pre-sale agreements as early as this year".

It certainly seems much more like a front-runner now than a few weeks or days ago.

Here's a post I just posted on LSE

‘Spud said (Advn 15 Aug 2018) ‘The beauty with Medium Range Storage (MRS) is the rate of withdrawal and injection. Islandmagee will be able to withdraw over 20 million cubic metres of gas per day’.

Assuming Spud is correct, can someone please check the following calculations.

Given:
Approx. 2.64 cubic metres of gas 1 therm

Given:
1 therm = approximately 29.3 KWH.

Therefore:
20M metres of gas per day = 7.5M therms = Approx 220M KWH

Current gas prices
hxxps://www.ukpower.co.uk/home_energy/tariffs-per-unit-kwh
Both gas and electricity consumption is measured in kWh. The unit rate you pay will vary depending upon the energy price plan you’re on, and even the region you live in, but the average cost of electricity per kWh is 14.37p, and the average gas cost per kWh is 3.80p

So assuming:
1KW natural gas = 3.80p

220M KWH x 3.80pence = 836M pence = £8.36 Million per day.

This is a PHENOMINAL turnover !!!

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE CHECK THESE FIGURES !

(OK Older & Wiser now checked them on LSE)

(I mean phenomenal turnover in terms of cash.......£8.36 million a day for what is at the moment a £6 Million market Cap Company !!!! That is absurdly surreal !!!!!)

GLA......we are surely going to to fly!

Malcy's Blog!

'Infrastrata
Infrastrata announced late yesterday…that it has received a LOI from a ‘major (blue chip) gas trading company regarding potential utilisation of its off-take at the Islandmagee storage facility. Things are really moving apace at INFA with much going on in recent months. This news is very positive as the FID case has to be enhanced by having a trader on board, still much to do but looking very positive.'

Lots of heavy investors will be reading this!

Great news, from the rns "The parties have been in discussions for several months and have now agreed a commercial structure for the utilisation of the storage capacity at InfraStrata's planned Islandmagee gas storage facility as it becomes available."

Could be wrong but I would surmise that they'll take all of project 1, 2 caverns and some if not all of project 2, 6 caverns, who knows maybe projects 3 & 4 too! Currently unknown but could easily be extra caverns.

Some clarification would be useful, GLA
