MMs widen spread as they go defensive - dangerous for them if £5K - £10k buyers move in suddenly

Nice few days but this is just the start - been held down to allow directors in - once they are done it’s going to 40p+

All backed up with NAV and now £95m finance deal and debt also cleared

Market in a bit of shock here and struggling to close out shorts and get stock

Hi Papy,

A good analysis.

Think they are repaying their debt with that $50m from the 24% stake sale?

perhaps needs a broker note to re rate these, but last N1 note mentioned the Audit issue disclaimer, so no target price attached to their note

Being an infrastructure fund, thought they have to be quite compliant in their business process.

Can't go to far wrong with buying under 4p & NAV 35p, plus BoD's buying 1m shares helps, so long as they do not require more funding

IIP moves on very small trades indeed. Quite unusual for a company carrying a market cap around £23 million. If £10k buyers move in the shares should fly - time to consider...

Hi Euclid,

I had it on a watchlist but only looked seriously today. I bought a few at 3.45p - shown on Advfn as a sale.

My impressions:
- Small Indian company on AIM = high probability of scam
- Expensive loans from connected party (dominant shareholder with 75%)
- Fund manager fee seems high ? (and a connected party again)
- Continual lowering of NAV
- Speculative way of calculating NAV (DCF, rather than comparable market prices)

But as you say, stonking discount to supposed NAV, and this funding deal could be transformational. So I’ve taken a small punt.

They are getting $50m for the 24% of DLII they are selling now. I haven’t figured out the conversion of pref shares in 2021+, hopefully the circular will give more details. Don’t like the comment that if any default under any of the transaction documents IIPs interest in DLII could reduce to zero. Again, hoping the Circular will shed more light.

Hi Papy,

Just seen this co today, & yes sort of agree with what you say. It's a hard one to call, as never invested in these type of companies.

Not sure what they will do with the cash they receie from thier Sale shares in DLI, & how much exactly they will receive from this?

But having a NAV of 35p back in Sept 17, & a share price of 4p is about just under 1000% discount. Has the funding today resolved this discount, as they needed this funding package.

The BoD's 1 mill x 2 directors buy gives confidence, so I guess they are not expecting any further funding dilution on the back of today's news.

One to watch or take a small punt in.

Picked up the Audit disclaimer issue from the last short broker note, that's a little worrying. shame that wasn't resolved quite soon

Takes a bit of research and thinking about. Finance structures versus asset values and working out the situation with each separate asset. Worth making the effort as risk appears reduced quite a bit. The director buy at 3.9p raises some confidence and another 500k at 3.4p.

Euclid5, thanks for that.

My reading is the uncertainties all related to funding which today’s RNS resolves (subject to the detail in the Circular and approval by shareholders).

Is your take different?

That’s not far bad based on the financing and potential for a debt free business.
