Yesterday's presentation/fire side chat was very positive but didn't add anything new in the near term ( which would have needed an RNS had there been anything!) although the longer term possibilities sounded very good. In time we will see.

Looking better today. Presentation yesterday continued to say 1bn revenue target was on track. As long as that stays on track this continues the trend

Odd reaction really because the purchasers of the stock at 250p are more than likely to be ongoing buyers and Scopia are done for now.Timely sale by Scopia though given the recent sharp outperformance.
I’m not sure that a placing of 2.8% rather than the original suggestion of placing of 3% has much relevance.20 million shares placed is a nice round number and suggests that the placing was probably fully subscribed.Nowadays the immediate share price reaction to an RNS are feral and unpredictable.I guess the bots crack in and add to the mystery.

Actually can you imagine how institutional clients of Jefferies who participated in this placing at 250p today will be feeling! Thoughts of cementing relationships on this one no doubt!

Scopia Capital Sells 3% Stake In Indivior

(MT Newswires) -- Scopia Capital Management sold about a 2.8% stake in Indivior (INDV.L), lower than its target of 3%, according to a Wednesday filing.

The asset management firm sold 20 million common shares in the pharmaceutical company at 2.50 pounds sterling ($3.39) per share, and will now hold about 13.5% of Indivior.

Jefferies acted as the sole book-runner for the placing.

Hilarious really if you are not mesmerised by daily share price movements. My take is, so there is institutional appetite for 20 million at 250p and the company was buying in shares the previous day at 265p!

I assume bears/shorters have concluded that buyers have been fully satisfied with the seller flagged as going to sell 3% yet only 2.8% got away. Does that mean there is little extra support in the near term --why not give this one a push down! So far that has worked well!

Mind you, I think it was good to see such institutional demand and that, no doubt, this will soon wash through!

The markets closed and they announced after 430 so you wouldn't expect a reaction... yet! Hopefully not too much but assess after 9am tomorrow

Well yes although I rather more liked the FT Article of 30 June 2021 comparing the then very low Indivior valuation as a two times multiple of its revenues with that of a Swedish rival drugs company. Quite addictive in its own way!
