I'm speaking second hand, gra. All I know is it's a sh1thole and my dad, who knows a hard place when he sees one, says it's rough as Dunderheed on steroids. As he is familiar with the Meadows, Stanns (St Annes) and Hysen Green in Nottingham as well as Newark (where MO probably has family), I'm happy to take it on trust.

Nah, I think they're all making a mountain out of a molehill.

It's between Nottingham and Derby. I suspect Dunderheed is from there.

I've only just noticed. Dammit, he does look like he's taking a dump, while calmly smoking a pipe.

I wonder if his ears are burning.

When my old man used to collect the football pools he had to drive to Ilkeston to drop them off on Friday nights. After doing so he would pop into a local pub and hold his hand up with 5 fingers showing above the crowd at the bar for last orders. The landlord who knew him would then pass 5 pints over the crowd to him which he would then neck before driving home.

He said it was even rougher than the Meadows where the kids used to p1ss through letter boxes then knock on the door to ask how far it went. He used to carry an iron bar with him when collecting round there.
