04/7/2011 19:21 | 9123: MJ - whilst alive, he was plain Frank. Amongst his circle of mates, he has, since his demise, always been called Dead Frank, to differentiate him from another Frank, who is still kicking (or was a few days ago). He was a bloody brilliant bloke, Dead Frank. He once bet me a score that his car engine was so finely tuned, that he could rev it to teh max, whilst static, & a glass of Guinness, filled to teh brim & placed on teh bonnet, would not spill over. I took this bet & he won - never seen anything like it. It cost me £20.85 - aye, Dead Frank ensured I not only went for, but paid for, teh stout. When he was newly qualified, he used to leave work every Friday night, telling his boss that, in teh next 48 hours, he would earn 3 times what he had earned that week. And he did. Tarmacing with his Da & brothers. RIP Francis, mate. | man overbored
04/7/2011 18:53 | On the subject of weighing. Where would you weigh a pie? | madjock2

04/7/2011 16:33 | Morning chops. I would advise not buying a caravan. Teh chances, however remote, of landing next door to Charles Bore are just too great. | teh hampster

04/7/2011 15:40 | 9113: Booze. More than you could point a very big stick at. In his last couple of years, he would go straight to teh pub from work & stay there until it shut. | man overbored
04/7/2011 15:37 | I lose up to 6lbs on a "fasting day"* *then put 8 on the following day ;-) | prambigear

04/7/2011 15:33 | 9103: 'Stop' me if I've 'mentioned' this before, but my late mate, Dead Frank, would go several days without any food, only drinking water, and during this fasting would spend one or more entire days ( 8 hours )in teh sauna at teh gym, only emerging infrequently for a cold plunge. I think his record weight loss was just under 2.5 stones in a week. That 'said', I don't endorse anything he ever did. One of his other obsessions caused his untimely death in his mid-40s. | man overbored
04/7/2011 15:30 | On teh phone to Vodafone... | golly blackwell
