Interesting yo yo moves in the share price, does the 'New Green Deal' mean anything for this or are we all destined to choke on Trump's fumes? Lol.

It’s certainly come a long way. It is astonishing to think that the 560m Aum increase is ten times the total aum they managed when i first bought stock. R2

So a nice clean £560m AUM up in January. Nice to see it flipping back. if the broader economy remains semi stable reckon we can get back on track this quarter - roll on 13bn.

Been backing it since 2007. first 8 years very little happened. Now having its day in the sun. Wonderfully well run company. Now feels like an old slipper!

We appear to be back on track. Looking forward to getting a glimpse of the AUM figure for January next week.

IEM now up to 267 from around 250 when the last AUM figs came out early Jan. If we can hang in around that figure, should be a nice upswing on AUM in early Feb. Regardless - fundamentals remain super strong, Ian simms continues to talk reassuringly at recent media/analyst meetings of a very strong new business "hopper", and at a P/E of around 20 its now strangely quite cheap too. I for one am still buying...

AUM update was positive in terms of fund flows, but a little disappointing on the performance front. They seem to have lost 11% on their equity funds, but I guess that is in line with the market.

With a 10 year view, this is one of my favourite shares. It looks exceptionally well placed, to grow to a £30-50bn AUM business. Next year might be a bit sticky, as it will be for all asset managers, but if they can crack the US (over the next 5 years) this could be a great journey.

I see that further guidance is going to be given on the dividend policy in 2019 as per the prelims announcement. There seems to be a bit of confusion on the dividend for 2019 as Stockopedia have reduced by 2p to 3.5p and Charles Stanley have 5.1p. Anyone got the latest consensus? I can't believe that a cut is likely as average AUM are going to be good for 2018/19. More likely that they move to a 50% pay-out ratio or something which is quite an increase. I'm forecasting 4.5p myself, as I think we are heading for a bear market. Think something has gone wrong with the Stockopedia consensus though!

Results and dividend very good. They have already repaid half of the borrowing facility taken on and are in a net cash position. Its undoubtedly a challenging time in the markets, but there is at least another decade of growth in this beauty until the CEO decides to retire or sell out. The dividend is well over 10% yield on my purchase cost and so I’m still happy.

Evening All Good results seem to be flagged up.... I hope so, though I gather things are not going so brilliantly well with Pax in the USA but that IPX business is going well with plenty of investable space. Whatever. As you will know, I'm in for the long haul. Let's see what tomorrow brings. Best R2
