The Covid news will in no way affect the FDA decision on the lupus study. They are completely unrelated issues from a regulatory point of view.

Right guys and girls

Have a great weekend ahead.

Hope DOW will crash today/tonight and then FTSE!

IMM - well enough said. Even Tim must have embarrassed about this stpuid COVID RNS.

Halfbutt - Still think IMM is atleast 40P share but I guess one need to wait atleast till 2023 as I just can't see IMM initiate trail this year.

Forget trail, even FDA approval is not confirmed which they will get for sure.

I've feeling, if true, this COVID news will only enhance their bid for P3 trial with FDA but we shall see.

Having said that - take care and have a lovely weekend.

You clearly don't know how pensions work. By retiring 10 years early I lost a big % of my final salary pension so it isn't massive. And I have never said I was a hot shot. I started as a humble lab scientist and ended up as a Medical Director and along the way gained a unique experience of all stages of drug development! I should probably have stayed working for a bit longer but got weary of travelling all over the world, which was what my job entailed for the last 14 years.

halfbutt - as I said, i was waiting for atleast last 4 years for this moment.

In hindsight, I could have done much much better and could have sit on with double the money but this is a good learning lesson for me and I'm young so can afford to lose few haha.

Let's see.

I've 0 doubt in my mind that we'll see indices across the world 30% lower that today. Yes I can see even FTSE 3500, so now just playing with my 1/3 investment.

When this Virus thing over I would like to do good. If not then this is a fantastic lesson for me to learn.

Like yesterday I could not have bought IMM - even though I knew Tim is a big ramper but you know lesson learned haha

I was up around £30,000 but well FED is pumping hard so now around £21,000

But as I said about time.

For example, WH SMITH -> they came up with result yesterday and it was disaster. WH Smith was 2500 just few months back and now not even 800P. What it tells us, that we re in a mess and FED and Central bankers will not save this mess.

In fact, pump will make it more worse. My and your children will bear this central banking spending spree.

But hey ho...

Right - now i want lord or wig so that I can polish my sarcasm.

Hey Haffbutt,

See that's why I hate nice people. You are going to share your life and secrets haha and which I don't enjoy. Okay so, story is, I was not doing this trading or investing during last recession (2009). I had not idea about all these.

Then since 3 years I was patiently waiting for one and in between learned about Pharma Penny shares ( lost here in IMM, made good fortune in HEMO, made in NFX and STX ). So it was a mixed bag fortune.

But one thing I was really proud of myself is that I held on during 2018 and 2019 and saved my bulk of saving to invest during downtime.

And that time came in March. I went all short on FTSE and S&P. AT one point i was up 85% in like 2-3 weeks. Greed got better of me and held on and then when I sold i was hardly up 30%. But good experience and since then I'm wating and making trading.

I won't say I'm as good as Nobby but I am learning and learning good. I believed now in myself and for example, see this screenshot - you can see I opened this position now since one month and at one point I was down £40,000 and even I was up £38,000.

But i believe I will get £100,000 in next few weeks so helding my position here.

As I type one can see FED is pumping back hard but doesnt matter as I believe that weeks of long position will get wiped out in 1 days like last 10 years of profit wiped out in just a single March month!

Even now I made profit and loss. For example, yesterday I bought IMM thought stupid people will pump but I was wrong. Took loss and moved on.

But Overall I would say since March, I'm in a good position.

Even if I invest all my saving in like of FTSE index or like of safe heaven Llloyd I am fine but this trading give me thrills and I'm slowly but surely doing it good.

nobbygnome - Hmmm. Even retiring early, you clearly lead an extravagant life, needing to top up your income after 28 years' final salary pension contributions in a high-powered job (so we're told). Maybe your vicar wife has expensive habits (or is that only nuns)? I somehow knew you'd be doing "phenomenally well" during lockdown. Hence recommending you to idontflykathyydodo.

Nobby,

Red beautiful screen.

Now it’s upto FED!

With balanace sheet now growing, I’ve feeling they will stop soon and let the market decide its correct path.

Meanwhile - no wonder that punter figured it out about Tim farce about linking Lupuzor to Covid.

I will assume that is a genuine question. I retired early partly because I was so successful on the stock market but also because I could, due to a final salary pension scheme from 28 years working in one company! However, part of my retirement calculation was that I would need to trade successfully to top up my income and ensure a comfortable long retirement.

During this lockdown trading all day every day, I have done phenomenally well, although I don't think it has been that difficult if you are a half savvy trader. Just as an example I took £15000 out of my spreadbet accounts 2 weeks ago and another £17,500 on Tuesday. I could take out another £10k today if I wanted. That's the reality but people on here just call you a fantasy trader if you say anything like that . And just to say I have already made 5 profitable trades this morning and that is a slow day!
