16/10/2009 16:42 | Rarely trade shares these days Count prefer currencies now so get my fix from that. These are in the SIPP along with a few others and although I do use a stop it's a pretty wide one so not easily shaken out. Sheep send their regards too Count and say they've missed you :-) | dil
16/10/2009 14:51 | Charts looking better again today Count , sod the fundamentals :-) Best regards | dil
16/10/2009 14:16 | --->DIL ....over the years maybe. Just because something is going up on a chart does not mean it cannot pause for fundamental valuation catchup first, perhaps for another 6 months consolidation maybe. This should break through £10 in the next 2 - 3 years on a fairly conservative basis....hopefully sooner if sales speed up beyond analyst expectations. Those lucky few that participated in the recent placing @ 130p must be feeling pretty pleased with their daylight robbery. The lowest I participated in there was to buy stock at 135p, which was close enough I guess. Regards, THE COUNT! | the count
16/10/2009 13:26 | EDD looks good too :) | dasv

06/10/2009 10:39 | Diagnostics testing kit firm Immunodiagnostic Systems (IDH) reported an impressive 56% increase in revenues to 16.9 million pounds for the six months to September 30th. Sales of its Vitamin D tests have doubled, but lower sales of its automated instrument, IDS iSYS, are being offset by higher revenue per machine. Separately the company has announced that it has extended the scope of its agreement with Technogenetics of Italy. Technogenetics has been developing automated tests of autoimmune and infectious diseases to be used on the IDS iSYS for sale in Italy. Today's agreement extends the scope to all European and the former Soviet Union countries. "This should improve the attractiveness of the IDS iSYS platform and the competitive position of the company in Europe," commented broker Panmure Gordon. The broker increased its revenue forecasts for 2010 by 11% to 33.4 million pounds, which takes its EPS estimate 12% higher from 23.6p to 26.3p. Panmure Gordon reiterated its 'buy' stance for the shares, which rallied by 60p to 467.5p on the back of today's announcement. | dasv
06/10/2009 00:09 | Yes a real hedge against a turnround in the market. Very impressive growth figures and I like the solid look of the forecasts for future trading. Should be a 25-30% per year growth for many years to come and if that is not good enough for you, then you shouldn't be investing. | greek islander

05/10/2009 12:01 | --->ALL A little gem of a company with solid growth for years to come and as defensive a stock (important in tough times as it may trade at a premium to the marker when the penny drops) as you can get at this level. I expect an share price of £10+ within 2 years... or 3 years if I am being very conservative. This may not sound great when compared to blue sky dream tomorrow stocks such as in the exploration sector, but on a risk/reward basis, you cannot get much better than that. Oh, and today... * Panmure Gordon has a buy for Immunodiagnostic Services, raising target to 470p from 420p. I presume these idiots mean Immunodiagnostic Systems Holdings of course. Regards, THE COUNT! | the count
05/10/2009 11:41 | shares must be tightly held - more impressive rising in a lacklustre day for the FTSE100 on the back of an excellent trading update:- Immunodiagnostic Systems Holdings plc Trading update Immunodiagnostic Systems Holdings plc ("IDS" or "the Company"), a leading producer of diagnostic testing kits for the clinical and research markets, announces a trading update for the six month period to 30 September 2009, prior to the release of its half-yearly report on Monday, 30 November 2009. Turnover from continuing operations for the period is 56% ahead of the comparative period for last year at GBP16.9 million (2008: GBP10.8 million) and 20% ahead of 2008 H2 on a like for like basis. Revenues have increased in all direct sales territories with substantial growth in the USA, France and Germany. Sales of our Vitamin D products continue to grow at an impressive rate, having doubled compared to same period last year. The company has made progress in both sales and placements of our automated instrument the IDS-iSYS following its launch at the end of February this year. We have also launched three automated products; 25 Hydroxy vitamin D at the end of February, P1NP in July and HGH in September. We have direct reagent rental accounts in the UK, France, Germany, Austria and Switzerland and have made instrument sales in Australia, Canada, Finland, Italy, Spain, France and Switzerland. The roll out of the IDS-iSYS is in its formative stages, and although initial machine sales are a little lower than anticipated, it is pleasing to report that revenue per machine is ahead of expectations. We expect the rate of sales and placements to increase in H2 following the increase in the number of iSYS evaluation sites towards the end of H1, the new agreement with Technogenetics (announced today on RNS Reach) under which we will supply OEM instruments and reagents to them, and, subject to the timing of FDA approval later this year, the planned US launch of the iSYS system. Overall trading remains in line with management expectations and the Board remains confident going forward that it can continue to execute its plans for the current year. | dasv
