thin trading and it leaps, thin trading and it falls. The price reflects the fact that not many shares are out there and I'm never really happy about that -there is a risk when announcements are made (see how quickly it fell to 130p) and a few buys/sells can cause big moves.

no worries liarspoker - agree AU. is more expensive than some the zulu gems you have uncovered. Good results from ATD today - perhaps a zulu in the making.

I forgot that you held AU. dasv so my post was not meant to be a comparision of IDH to a stock that you own. For my tastes AU. is a little expensive but of course it fits well with Slaters criteria. I do not understand AU. enough to put a value on its IP rather I'd be happy to hold so long as the multiple or PEG don't get too high.

yes I do think there is unique IP in IDH. I just have close-hand experience with search systems (it's my job) so I give AU. special treatment. I would not have bought into IDH if the proposition it offers did not measure up to its excellent fundamentals. In your view does CMSH offer unique IP?

Yes but with AU. you have to put a valuation on their unique intellectual property - their technology justifies the premium in my opinion. I bought back into AU. at 1200. My first buy was at 500. Any thoughts on XPP?

A multiple of 9.66 isn't bad in my book. Better then a multiple of near 20 and PEG of .62 for AU. ( even if it's a FTSE100 stock ).

Edit: just buy a few and hold for 6 months imo. ;o)

liarspoker - I am very much into the zulu approach - and low PEG is absolutely key as far as I am concerned.

dasv - going on digital look forecasts IDH is still on a rolling multiple of 9.66 at 352p offer. The rolling PEG is only .165 so I don't think that you are a bit too late. :O)

producer of diagnostic testing kits for the clinical and research
markets, announces that on 19 August 2009 Nordic Bioscience A/S ("Nordic")
disposed of its entire holding in IDS, with the majority of the shares being
purchased by Forum Venture Capital GmbH ("Forum"), taking their holding to
24.6%.


Following the purchase of ordinary shares Forum has a direct interest
in 6,504,364 voting shares in the Company, representing 24.6% of the issued
share capital. Prior to the transaction Forum held 4,221,064 voting shares in
IDS.
