Well done to the management for getting this deal done.Having gone through Covid, and with the current macro environment, I think it's a very good deal for shareholders. The voting breakdown will be available soon and I think it will show that the vast majority of shareholders agree.Need to look forward now. 5p per share in cash and a profitable business that covers overheads.

All we have seen this year is that what happens and what he does has no link to what he says.

He was also confident of Uvisan sales going through the roof and that Vodiac was going to be the Utube of VR.(75 videos so far )

Martin was confident in the vox market interview that HBE would support itself and wouldn’t trouser the cash as he put it.
New target company is now my point of interest going forward.

Based on the financial information we have been given the remaining company is not profitable and is not covering overheads. HBE has always reported a loss, and now the LBE business is gone all of those Head office costs will have to be covered by HBE which is not even going to be close. If they provided any facts to support the claim they will not be burning through the money to run the business maybe we would see a rise, but not until then.

RNS out. Approved as expected.

The company will shortly have 5p per share in cash plus a retained business that is already profitable and covering overheads.

The share price should be above 5p.

What is wishful thinking about us selling more for the same amount of money?

How about a little left field thinking, Bidco decide the share price has not increased so much, lets take it all at 5p ? Could it happen or is it wishful thinking ?

"Although Higginson stated he was not involved in any way with the new investors, I would like clarification that none of the main existing shareholders are involved with the new owners."

Well I think that is something we won't get to find out, but it would be nice to think that the benefits that might occur longer term from the LBE business, won't flow nicely into the pockets of people who got it at a snip.

Yes I doubled up my holdings this week as the shares are not reflecting the value post the sale !! IMHO

I think once the vote is passed and I believe it will be. I can see this hitting the 4p mark easily.
I’m also sure whatever target company Martin has in mind is probably also just a formality going forward.
However you know they don’t break sweat so not sure how quickly it will all get done.
Nonetheless should be interesting 🧐

Not that it’s going to change anything, but it beggars belief , that after a year or so in the test production of the container offerings , they announce that they are 3 times more expensive to make and install than the normal units , and can’t afford them.

Did they not do costings before embarking on this experiment ?

Now they are left with the part of the business that not so long ago they were going to almost give away.

Have the products been improved ?, has new content been added ?

No, of course not

In Immotion speak, It’s all coming soon.

After the dividend (Which I suspect will be higher than the quoted 3p), I won’t be lingering in the hope that the next start up gets lucky.

We never once heard anything about the take up numbers for the gorillas.

Although Higginson stated he was not involved in any way with the new investors, I would like clarification that none of the main existing shareholders are involved with the new owners.

Don't worry itsadog, I am not a regular contributor here. I sold out of IMMO quite a while back.

My penultimate post was in response to a plea to me for advice in relation to IMMO made by Yump on another board. This seemed the obvious bb on which to post my reply.

I was a bit miffed at the ungracious response to advice he had specifically asked that I give, but there we are, there's no accounting for folks. I should not have cluttered up the board replying to his ungracious response to my substantive reply, though. Apologies.

I hope IMMO turns out OK for you.

You really have got nothing better to do than compose “knowing”; posts have you and give out simplistic advice, without having any clue about any of my portfolio.

I see you conveniently avoided the fact that you thought it was uninvestable and now a significant contract with Merlin plus the Private Equity purchase has proved that not to be the case.

As for the guesswork about cashflow and people leaving, neither you nor I know enough to comment on that.

I wonder if you were ever badly wrong at work and ever admitted it. Must have been a right pain to work with.

Hope you’re getting something out of your life.

I am surprised that you need my assistance with this Yump. The answer seems pretty obvious to me, but as you have gone to the trouble of following me to another board to seek my assistance I shall of course provide it:-

1.This is a done deal, so don't waste time fretting whether a better outcome could have been achieved
2.It is a good deal, given the position from which the BoD was negotiaing. IMMO is undercapitalised, surviving from hand to mouth, and vulnerable to the loss of able staff to better, more secure jobs elsewhere. If it were to have tried to raise capital, you and the other current holders would have been diluted to oblivion. Absent a capital raise, it would in due course have gone under
3. Vote for the resolution, take the cash, and get out
4. Striking IMMO from your portfolio (and Mode) will free time for you to review your other holdings, and to cull any others which are money pits
5. Invest the proceeds in something sound. No more moonshots. If in doubt, put the proceeds into physical copper. That will provide at least one secure asset which is likely to appreciate for the foreseeable future, to give some 'ballast' to your portfolio.

Even though you look like getting a lucky reprieve in Immotion, I expect that it has cost you a certain amount through your holdings in Immotion and Mode to learn the lesson to cut your losses as soon as the investment case evaporates (the earliest cut is usually the cheapest, and frees capital to invest in better prospects elsewhere). Make sure you remember that lesson. If you do, the price you have paid for it will not have been wasted.

Best of luck for the future.

Might be worth bearing in mind that when Immotion said around 12 weeks to completion, they probably meant to say 18 months.

Did mine on Wednesday. I can only think the share price is factoring in a possibility of the vote going against - but that must be pretty unlikely. I'm not sure many people will positively vote for the price to go back to 2p again! I don't know how profitable Let's Explore would be as a standalone HBE business, but if the profitability is worth nothing at all the firm's cash value alone is 4.9-5p.

Ceteris paribus the ex-d price of this, based on current sp, will be 0.4p, valuing £6.5-7million of cash at £1.7m! Seems crazy.

I've just submitted my votes in favour of the resolutions.Share price is absurdly dislocated from the cash value at the moment.
