Any views on why this is a Tender offer instead of a clean dividend.

Does anyone know if the award-winning Gorilla Trek is also in the HBE offering, or was the nice award presentation and the IMMO mission statement about Zoo expansion just sticking 2 fingers up at investors ?

bennywin, LOL, BUT.....

I originally stuck with IMMO because they avoided wipe-out in Covid.
That forced several strategy changes at IMMO; unsurprising.

Since then management have all the consistancy of a weather-vane in chosing in which direction to go. If HVE is going so well, how come this wasn't the case earlier & why sell LVE? LVE was the mainstay & IMO stands a good chance of good royalties from China as well as profits from existing sites.

The chopping and changing in IMMO means they've lost too much cred. with me
& I've been reducing, tho' not too fast as there's room for share price to move up.

Not that it’s going to change anything, but it beggars belief , that after a year or so in the test production of the container offerings , they announce that they are 3 times more expensive to make and install than the normal units , and can’t afford them.

Did they not do costings before embarking on this experiment ?

Now they are left with the part of the business that not so long ago they were going to almost give away.

Have the products been improved ?, has new content been added ?

No, of course not

In Immotion speak, It’s all coming soon.

After the dividend (Which I suspect will be higher than the quoted 3p), I won’t be lingering in the hope that the next start up gets lucky.

We never once heard anything about the take up numbers for the gorillas.

Although Higginson stated he was not involved in any way with the new investors, I would like clarification that none of the main existing shareholders are involved with the new owners.

Don't worry itsadog, I am not a regular contributor here. I sold out of IMMO quite a while back.

My penultimate post was in response to a plea to me for advice in relation to IMMO made by Yump on another board. This seemed the obvious bb on which to post my reply.

I was a bit miffed at the ungracious response to advice he had specifically asked that I give, but there we are, there's no accounting for folks. I should not have cluttered up the board replying to his ungracious response to my substantive reply, though. Apologies.

I hope IMMO turns out OK for you.

I am surprised that you need my assistance with this Yump. The answer seems pretty obvious to me, but as you have gone to the trouble of following me to another board to seek my assistance I shall of course provide it:-

1.This is a done deal, so don't waste time fretting whether a better outcome could have been achieved
2.It is a good deal, given the position from which the BoD was negotiaing. IMMO is undercapitalised, surviving from hand to mouth, and vulnerable to the loss of able staff to better, more secure jobs elsewhere. If it were to have tried to raise capital, you and the other current holders would have been diluted to oblivion. Absent a capital raise, it would in due course have gone under
3. Vote for the resolution, take the cash, and get out
4. Striking IMMO from your portfolio (and Mode) will free time for you to review your other holdings, and to cull any others which are money pits
5. Invest the proceeds in something sound. No more moonshots. If in doubt, put the proceeds into physical copper. That will provide at least one secure asset which is likely to appreciate for the foreseeable future, to give some 'ballast' to your portfolio.

Even though you look like getting a lucky reprieve in Immotion, I expect that it has cost you a certain amount through your holdings in Immotion and Mode to learn the lesson to cut your losses as soon as the investment case evaporates (the earliest cut is usually the cheapest, and frees capital to invest in better prospects elsewhere). Make sure you remember that lesson. If you do, the price you have paid for it will not have been wasted.

Best of luck for the future.

A few questions:

Where does that leave us with the deal in China?
Repeat revenue on a commission basis seems alluring.
I hope we keep this and work with China on content.
I don't know the exact terms of that contract.

I hear that deal's going to put 5p cash/share, 3p of which we get back?
OK, so what is Higginson going to do next? Plans for HVE?
The weathervane changes in direction in IMMO are becoming legend which is no
comfort for us...

>>>Bipos

Assuming it all goes through and shareholders receive around 3p/share, I believe that this will be treated as a capital return (they may call it a capital dividend). It will certainly not be an income dividend, as these can only be paid from post tax profits.

A return of capital (or capital dividend) is likely to be treated as a disposal of a part interest in the underlining shares

BabblerAlot is vague, look at the spa terms. When will deal go through and immotion be paid?If they have put aside divi payment of 13.5m after completion how long for divi to be paid. Not written. At the GM i suggest shareholders get confirmation.

Scaring everyone off, bennywin?! LOL.

On the basis of c.£100K/ monthcashflow, I thought of selling BIDS & buy more IMMO.
At least IMMO have ebitda to talk of instead of contracts but silch returns...

I've all but forgotten about HVE & Uvisan. Good ideas under the circumstances,
but not key products. I remember my take on HVE, armed with a second opinion,
& that kicked up a bit of dust..... The fact they're unsold yet proves it IMO. Zero value.

IMMO need to up their game regarding video material - it's what people pay for.
LVE is the way here, & do they really think they've covered the potential market?
I think not, & they should have a look at how PHTM do it.

Sites in big shopping malls, with a choice of material, so repeat visits
for something new by shoppers, should be a good formula.
No need for 40 seat installations - 1 to 5 would suffice & add some
if there are queus waiting. You can't beat it in terms of footfall, all year round, 7 days a week, hence the need for material on more than just animals.
History would be a good avenue & there's plenty more after that like car races.
As you say, benny - Mission to the moon, Congo river trip, Dinosaurs, the list is endless.

If I were Serge Kraznianski at PHTM H.Q. I'd be running my ruler over IMMO.
After all, Higginson is known for setting up new tech businesses and selling out
once they're up & running. BIS REPETITA?
