On reflection with the present Mkt Cap raising £2.5m would be a big stretch

Perhaps £1.25m or 50m shares at 2.5p could be doable

Early doors .... Cash is needed ... perhaps 2.5p if they act quick

£2.5m cash needed = another 250m shares

Ha ha , in your desperate attempt to deramp this company with what amounts to a libelling statement concerning their finances you can't even get a simple sum correct 250 million times 2.5p = £6.25m DUNCE!

Who says £2.5m cash is needed? Why not £1m or £5m?

Cash Call Cometh

As a result of an onerous nuclear contract and given the limited resource base available, it has been necessary in recent years to restrict R&D activities to modest incremental development. However, the Board is exploring means of accelerating product development. In order to give this fresh impetus, it is intended that following the General Meeting on 11 April 2014, Bill Mawer will be appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and he will be taking executive responsibility for the introduction of new technologies and the associated development of new products.
The current bank balance stands at GBP83,000 and the Company remains debt-free. Image Scan maintains an overdraft facility of GBP100,000 with the Royal Bank of Scotland.

Market seems to like it for now at least. Bill Mawer appointment is the key and let's not forget market cap is tiny. Just need some growth and potential new markets and we are off.

"Onerous contract" refers to the loss-making nuclear contract taken on to keep the business running, but at a loss. Ideally IGE would just stop the contract but they can't, they have to keep running it at a loss due to the terms of the contract. It is a bit like a lease where a company has to fulfil the term of a lease until it expires even if they no longer occupy the property, this is usually described as onerous.

I read the TS to suggest that a placing (and hopefully open offer) is on the way. This should be a good thing long term but hold on to your hats for now. I am glad to be out at the moment.

Let's just get this EGM out of the way and get the resolutions passed. Bill Mawer joining as CEO should be a new beginning ( and in my view a springboard) for IGE.

The future's bright!

Ha ha Waggle funnily enough had a couple last night!

I would like to take credit for my "hunch" but it was a possible outcome suggested by the outgoing chairman at the AGM.

He might even get a few shares under his belt!

Good news.
