I think that is the right approach chris

Too many of these miners/explorers are crowded longs.

As the money seeps out into plays such as this just small moves can have big consequences for such tiddlers.

Just taking a change of approach - looking for smallcap growth plays in growth markets and moving away from miners/explorers.

Pump and Dump crew are pumping AMP based on $80m valuation for Kromek

But IGE is in same business and similar revenues but only valued at £2m with £4m order book and £1m cash

Is COMET a big company? If they are, it looks like if IGE do well for them they will be getting the chequebook out.

COMET appoints 3DX-RAY as UK distributor
3DX-RAY becomes largest UK distributor for COMET's x-ray products and will provide new consultancy service to help COMET's UK customers

Loughborough, UK – 8th November 2011 - 3DX-RAY, the x-ray inspection specialist, has been appointed as a UK distributor for COMET Industrial X-Ray, a product area of the Modules & Components division of the COMET Group. Through this agreement 3DX-RAY is now COMET's largest approved distributor in the UK.

3DX-RAY was chosen as it has the experience, expertise and product portfolio to offer much more than a straightforward distributor service in the UK. As well as supporting COMET's customers in providing new products, replacements and repairs, 3DX-RAY will also offer a complete consultancy service to help organisations improve and streamline their use of x-ray technology in the security and industrial sectors.

COMET Industrial X-Ray develops and manufactures metal/ceramic x-ray sources, and the related modules, for the non-destructive examination of materials and components in the automotive, aviation pipeline and steel industries, and also for the stationary and mobile inspection of baggage and cargo at airports and borders.

"We have extensive knowledge of COMET's x-ray products having used them ourselves for many years now," commented Nick Fox, CTO, 3DX-RAY. "As a result we know that they produce the highest performing and highest reliability x-ray products, and we are well placed to support them in the UK and to offer additional advice to their customers. This agreement is a fantastic opportunity for 3DX-RAY to grow our business in the UK and to develop our relationship with one of our most important suppliers."

Don Brennan, Head of Global Marketing & Sales at COMET Industrial X-ray added, "By appointing 3DX-RAY in this new role we know we are getting exceptional support for our business in the UK. They have in depth knowledge of our products, in fact they were our biggest customer in the UK last year, and of x-ray technology generally. We know that we are getting a trusted and respected partner in the UK that will be a great support to our sales effort."
