06/3/2019 15:19 | Government Petition to Ban shorting of London AIM stocks. The AIM stock market is where smaller companies list their shares rather than using the prohibitively expensive main London Stock Market. This is an important market for the growth of smaller UK companies. In challenging times, shorters seek to borrow the company's shares from a holder for a consideration and to buy them at a later date. They immediately sell these shares which, due to the relative illiquid market, sends the price much lower and hence the shorters can buy them at that lower price - pocketing the difference. The only beneficiaries are the shorters and the market makers with the losers being the reputable company and it's bona fide investors. | vauch

01/3/2019 11:00 | Ellesmere Port inquiry into IGas testing the well - I understand closing statements from the council next Tuesday and IGas on Wednesday....... Remember the well already exists, I would imagine some restrictions on flare height to reduce distraction to motorists and greater IGas engagement with community as part of a solution to enable the test. Emissions from flaring will be inevitable but for a short period. NB. Well is in an industrial area close to a motorway. An environmental study was carried out and the local planning officer had recommended approval. Government has since the refusal changed planning guidance to give more weight to Gas extraction.-------Ad | gold map

26/2/2019 09:17 | Nocton - IMO Due to the restructuring IGas operates effectively as a private company (low share liquidity) and doesnt benifit from bagging the drum. The Free Carry on exploration courtesy of INEOS (a private company) negates the need to attract new investment (therefore no additional dilution). IGas is steadily proving up the Gas Resources and is in my opinion excitingly producing electricity next to the existing gas wells to meet peak demand. The conventional Oil production provides revenue while IGas pivots to Gas. I believe shares should skyrocket at some point or perhaps a sudden takeover bid? DYOR | gold map

25/2/2019 10:35 | Do you smell Gas? Tinker lane WAS a success! It's on the edge of a major potential gas field, the data is being analysed. "Drilling operations at Springs Road-1 is progressing well". IGas"The findings at the site in Tinker Lane near Barnby Moor are equivalent to a trillion dollars-worth of gas, significantly higher than at one of the biggest fracking locations in the US". Tom Pickering, chief operating officer of Ineos Shale, said the findings could be "significant" and "transformational for the UK economy" Expresshttps://www.g | gold map
