Given that AA (Andrew Austin) is still a major shareholder here
and has raised his bat in the AIM again.

Igas is a given target for his new portfolio.

Will Igas split off the Oil operations and concentrate on the Gas exploration, this has passed my thoughts.

One things for sure, Igas will not stand still in its current state.

Looking back at British Coal ( UK COAL ), this underwent one of the most complex
restructures in history, and reborn as Harworth Estates, ( whom by coincidence have a very close relationship with Peel Oil and gas , and also with IGAS.

Watch this space.

Something like the above may well double your money IMO

A multibag is now looking as far away as Mars....

Austin, in a statement, said: “We are excited by the opportunity that we see in the UK oil and gas sector to acquire interests in production assets with meaningful reserves and are confident that we have the right platform to grow the portfolio in a capital efficient way while delivering shareholder value."

Its 8 times cheaper than back then. Nothing wrong with that. So long as it can produce a profit from current gas prices and keep its name over the door. Fingers crossed.

And the news? The Oil and Gas Authority has granted the final consent needed for a flow test at the well to proceed, and Horse Hill Developments Limited (owned in part by these two companies) now has permission for an extended test covering three separate oil-bearing intervals.

If Ineos now has 1 million acres Igas has done very well to have 875000

Definately a big player.

Hutton & Egdon are shouting loudly already.

This is the key round, more significant players & for us in the North the one key large player Ineos.

Big enough & well placed in several aspects, production to end product, to really get the show on the road.

Our j/v partner in the more advanced earlier licences.
The great news is their full on commitment to shale gas.
