              Interim Results: 26 January 2000

International  Greetings  PLC  will  announce  its   interim
results  for  the  six  months ended 30  September  1999  on
Wednesday, 26 January 2000.

International  Greetings  is  one  of  the  world's  leading
manufacturers  of  gift  wrapping paper,  gift  accessories,
greetings  cards  and  crackers  and  is  the  UK's  leading
supplier  of  private  label  greetings  products  to  major
multiples  including Woolworths, Tesco and  Boots.  It  also
produces  children's character stationery  and  accessories,
under licence agreements with Disney, Hasbro and Mattel  and
has  the  exclusive European licence for Disney's new  block
buster, Toy Story 2, to be released in the UK on 5 February,
2000.
