The debt reduction is fantastic and their main customers are the likes of costco, aldi, lidl and ikea, all massively expanding. Good management investing successfully in the future. Who would have thought gift wrapping and especially the new gift bags would be so profitable. Very happy investor.

It's not often you get a share rise 40p in a day. There maybe some profit taking but long term this is heading one way and i'm still holding!

I have a note saying that Edison was previously forecasting £17m of net debt as at 31/3/17 and Sales of £268.5m....now they forecast £1.2m of net debt and Sales of £305m

Highlights how well the company is performing.

Given the increased profits and cash generation I expect the dividend to be raised more than the Edison forecasts (4p for 3/17, 5p 3/18)

Strong buying moving the share price back over 290 again, as was likely to happen after such a strong trading update. Well done to investors who held on during the recent consolidation period.

I thought I would be clever after selling my holdings earlier this year and planing on buying back ahead of the April trading update which is always positive. Serves me right that the update arrived early.

However have bought back in this morning, and just have to accept that you have to pay up for quality.

I wasn't expecting a financial year end trading update this early but all looking good...

Financial milestones

-- Group revenues are now expected to achieve record levels - exceeding GBP300m;

-- Profitability expected to be ahead of current market expectations;

-- Cash generation is well ahead of previously expected levels and such that the Board's target of average annual leverage at less than 2.5x EBITDA will be achieved for the year ended 31 March 2017 - two years ahead of plan.

"The Group's upgraded trading profit, coupled with lower interest costs from a strong cash flow, are expected to yield a profit after tax and earnings per share outcome for the full year that is also significantly ahead of market expectations."
