31/3/2023 12:32 | The TT cloud is IMO the only reason why this stock is trading sub 9 quid. Due to the always-possible regulatory/political interference, it is unlikely to command the type of P/E that you might expect with their metrics if they operated in a different sector (such as 12 or more, to my mind). Hence my rationale for something in the mid to maybe high 9's. I really hope the major shareholders watch this closely. If TT is not demonstrably improving by the next update, June MUST acknowledge this and MUST make it clear that she has a clear plan to fix it. Then by the next update from there, if the plan has failed, TT needs to be dumped. And so too, June herself I think. I appreciate that I may come across as impatient, but I really am not. I have just seen too many companies make strategically unwise M&A's over the years - boardroom hubris meant they did not admit and tackle the errors early on, or at all - until the damage became terminal, or at least seriously harmful to a previously great business for many years thereafter. Anyway, this is only relevant if TT continues to disappoint of course. Good or great numbers in the summer update and no shareholder will be happier than I will be, rest assured. | lovewinshatelosses
31/3/2023 11:46 | LWHL I'm not a trader and only have a small IGG position in my SIPP but when I look at the data on Sharepad this is trade on a PE if around 7.5x for the current year, will pay something like a 6.5% yield and end the year with around 25% of the market cap in net cash. SO regarding the next update, I agree that it could help with sentiment and really I feel that its sentiment which is against IGG at the moment as the share price is already factoring in a lot of bad news. A PE of 7.5x is not just saying that the market doenst believe the forecasts (which assume flat-ish performance this year) but that actually results will decline significantly | adamb1978
31/3/2023 10:50 | The test will come when we get the next update IMO. The buy backs will only provide support for the share price for so long. That is why I have not been tempted to add further so far here. July is quite a way off though, so who knows? There could be some good trading opportunities here in the interim. Maybe that 650p ish level. Flat right now - only because of said buy backs, IMO. FWIW, I really, really hope June gets us moving in the right direction again. This was one of my largest holdings and I would love to see a strong case for returning it to that level in my p/f again. GLA. | lovewinshatelosses
30/3/2023 09:42 | I'm trying not to lose patience with the share price performance, but it's becoming incredibly frustrating. Financials are beginning to see a decent bounce, but this is stuck in the doldrums. Sigh. | ppreston1

16/3/2023 14:54 | Concern I have (for the record not a holder yet), is when you net off interest income then total Rev was down 1.5% on last year. With inflation predicted to fall, with corresponding reductions in interest rates, then can't see sufficient underlying growth.....not clear but why would interest income continue to increase?, folks are likely to move cash out into higher rate cash ISA's etc, also from memory at H1 I thought they said interest income would fall to £10m at year end, that's a £40m decline in Q4. | disc0dave45
16/3/2023 14:21 | The cash machine aspect of IGG hasn't changed. All that has happened is Mr Market having a panic. The cash still sits on the balance sheet. The revenue comes through the door. In reality, nothing has changed. | nk104
16/3/2023 13:58 | Yes tiny purchases in comparison to the remuneration of these executives. June Felix took home over £3 million in the last financial year. On that basis, her purchase today is equivalent to her earnings of just a few short days during which time investors have lost 15% of the value of their holdings. | planelondon
16/3/2023 13:50 | I have made my concerns and criticisms well-known here, but I agree Adam, that is not pocket change IMO :) | lovewinshatelosses
16/3/2023 13:45 | Tiny purchases? £85k and £35k. I don't know the personal wealth of each of them, however its roughly £170k and £70k post-tax salary | adamb1978
16/3/2023 13:31 | These are tiny purchases by the CEO and CFO. No real conviction. Back in 2018 when IG Group shares fell significantly on the publication of EMSA’s new rules, Peter Heatherington, the CEO at the time, stood by his convictions of the business he so ably led and purchased a £1 million of stock on the same day. | planelondon
16/3/2023 13:11 | CEO and CFO buying shares. Good to see | adamb1978
16/3/2023 11:15 | There are the 6's that I felt were nailed on. Took another baby tranche and may take a few more if/more likely when that 650-odd level is revisited. If that goes, IMO we are going way back to the 5's. And June's job should at that point be under threat, because that would be an appalling result, given what a sound cash machine she inherited when she took the top job. GLA. | lovewinshatelosses
16/3/2023 04:31 | The numbers are there TT interest income circa 26% of total income, last year it was only 0.7%. | disc0dave45
15/3/2023 10:28 | The most worrying bit is the customer base shrinking and by quite a distance. Competition biting? | alotto
15/3/2023 09:16 | It was in line with what I expected really. No rush to buy more, because you will be able to get some in the 6's soon IMO. I only bought back circa 7% of what I originally held here - but needless to say, would have been better to wait :) It would be good to see June put her hand in her pocket and buy a big chunk on the open market soon, as she has done in the past. I agree planelondon - the jury remains out on June. I wonder how much longer she has before the key decision-makers here start to lose patience? Not a particularly successful replacement for the founder so far, IMO. | lovewinshatelosses
