I did last year, being my first experience with their ISA, Seems the divi is paid via some convoluted route and could take up to two days, which is bloody irritating in a Market like today when prices are so low!

That’s unusual gbh2..they have always paid any dividends on the correct day for me.
Have you got in touch with them & asked what the delay is?

Still no bloody dividend in my IG share dealing account, yet the other half was paid into my Halifax share dealing account last Friday, by lunchtime.

Doesn't bode well for IG if they're hoping to make their Share Dealing accounts attractive! !

do people still regularly spreadbet just asking because I stopped completely as soon as ESMA came in? I tried it for a while but too much capital was tied up for small trades so do this using an overseas broker now which works fine for me, ticking along with FTSE swing trades. Everything now is focused on an ISA and SIPP where the bulk of my capital is held. You used to see busy threads on here with so many people trading but they're dead now it looks like everybody has moved on. Where to I'm not sure. I thought ESMA was daft especially when I had guaranteed stops and paid for positions up front so didn't need much captial to start with and fully protected. ESMA came along and they stopped guaranteed stops, had load my account up with anything from £5K to £10K just to place a couple of FTSE trades every now and agian.

It's time IG sharpened up its act regarding Payment of Dividends, it currently takes them up to three days before we see it in our Share dealing account!

Wouldn't touch PLUS with a barge pole given the accounting error.

I still consider it likely that trading performance is below market expectations....as the ESMA full effect hasn't been fully understood. One only needs to look at the latest update from PLUS500 to see this....imho.

Trading update due to be issued next week. Maybe a leaky ship?

Although I think the current trading performance is already in the price here. They re-iterated their commitment to maintaining the divi at the current level (circa 43p) at the current time.

Suspect folks are jumping ship and leaving this overvalued stock and piling into PLUS which is significantly undervalued.

Spread bet companies make money when there is volatility especially in a bull market. The lack of vol and new regulatory framework has hit them all pretty hard. IGG are the gold standard though and I expect when volatility returns they'll do quite well again.

Its well covered, and, as far as can tell, they don't need the cash for anything else/developments.

I sold at the last drop as I could see downside..and although the share price had recovered it has now slipped back. I think the next results will be more indicative for a base line post regulations...all Imho...
